Some people aren't big strong confident macho men even at 39 and beyond, could be a range of things that mean he is not able to deal with the situation.

Those people shouldn't be running historic institutions adored by hundreds of thousands of people then.

Not fair to “blame” Top ? Sorry, I agree he needs his mum to step in as he is destroying his father’s businesses but you can’t write him off. He’s an overgrown child and the way his business is behaving shows it.

His father gave him every opportunity to succeed. Bought Leicester, bought Leuven, education, training, senior positions. The reasons he has failed is because he was happy prancing around as a boss without doing any of the leg work.

Bad advisors are absolutely his fault. If he isn’t fit for purpose, and he knows it, he should step aside. He was on that pitch last season acting like he has achieved something

His father brought all these great advisors in (Sue, Jon and god knows what other stale crap milking a living at the club) , so perhaps he was clueless too. I think so. Some one does need to step in but I am not sure anyone in King Power actually has any business acumen, they got rich by being a monopoly, hardly a huge skill. They got a reputation of being shrewd from Pearson and co's leg work and now they are back exactly where they were when they got rid of him in 2010, clueless, where they wold always have been without him.

The only real success was at least acknowledging that Pearson was needed in 2011. Every period since Pearson and later Puel left has been an utter shambles.

Agreed but then he didnt choose to run it, the Helicopter company made that decision. I think its had a bigger impact on Top than perhaps even he knows.

King Power all of them are the problem yes, if Top is failing, someone should get a grip of him and shake him, there is no one capable of doing that, none of them seem to know what to do, he employs a supposed business and football expert who sit by and watch instead of advising him better. The whole thing is absolutely riddled with utter incompetence. The whole thing is a shambles and im not sure how we get out of it, unless someone comes in with a serious  bid.

Er, he did choose - and continues to choose - to run it. He's not sat in the director's box at gunpoint.

He is, however, gleefully front and centre any time we're doing alright on the pitch.

I sit here reading all this, thinking to myself how the hell did we go from being the envy of every football club in terms of how we were run, the players we had, the attitude of our team, the family club - to where we are now. Us turning on Top (perhaps rightly so) - going from one manager to another, lack of leadership from the players to Top and everything in between, disconnect between the fans, players ,management and club.

We really didn't truly appreciate what we had, now we are in this mire, the laughing stock of the premier league. the epitome of how not to run a club, how things can change in the blink of an eye.......

Haha I thought it was recent. As Pearson would say, he must be an ostrich.

Sorry mate here's the recent one

“Over the coming days and weeks, we need to reflect again on the processes and decisions again that have brought us to this point again. What we learn from this experience again must convert into action again that makes us stronger again and prevents this happening again to us again in the future... Again.”

When the Southampton owner died his daughter chose to take a back seat and appointed people to run the club

Best part is the conclusion was they need to revert back to selling a player each year for big money… who smashed two brain cells together to come up with that then?
