Well we need another striker that's for sure especially as Daka isn't rated/leaving. Nacho injury we are up the creak as I don't think Vardy is up to it nowadays.

Surely we've won most of our games when Vardy's on. I think he's been a real nuisance at times, and it hasn't surprised me (a) that he's had a part to play in some of our goals and (b) that he hasn't scored himself, given that we aren't creating many chances for anyone in the CF position.

His positive contribution in the last game was pointed out by pundits, but many on FT took it as further evidence that he was a spent force simply because he didn't bag one. There's more to his game than that, and I think we're utilising him very well.

Man City have a lot of different players contributing to goals and this is the style we play. Teams sit off us making it harder for the strikers but our midfielders and wingers benefit from it. I wouldn't be surprised to see the goals shared equally between the team and not skewed massively towards the strikers.

Think even if Kel left this week then Mavididi or someone of a similar ilk would fill that role.

Or we could see a curveball replacement, with someone we didn't expect.

Mavididi is more than capable in that position I think.

Really? Have you seen Mavididi's finishing so far? He's clearly not a No.9 or centre forward

I'd expect KDH, Casadei, Mavididi and possibly Akgun to hit double figures not necessarily going to be reliant on a striker. Nacho will probably get as many assists as he does goals. I think we'd all be happy if Nacho got 10-15 goals and the same amount of assists

Do we need an out & out ""striker"" in that position if Kel goes, there is a good chance in this set up who ever plays there is not going to be the top scorer this season anyway.

That positon needs to be able to pull the CBs around, hold the ball up & layoff to advancing 8s / wingers, obviously ideally they would have an eye for goal & have some tricky feet themselves but i'm thinking someone that could do what say Firmino did at Liverpool (forget that it's him) i'm just saying that type of role,  do we actually need to be looking down the strikers list for a 20-25goal striker.

I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with a name that everyone thinks who or wtf are we thinking ie somone like Morgan Gibbs-White as in someone who's strong, can keep hold of the ball & will probably get more assists than goals (again not saying MGW but someone like that)

Equally if Kel stays this will be his main job & we shouldn't expect him to be scoring every game
