It will be fascinating to see which of the 5 will be in the final squad selection. My money is on Hermansen, Stolarczyk and Ward. Can't see Smithies staying (he'll be the cheapest to pay off) and I've a sneaking suspicion Iversen might be off to Turkey (along with Daka).

I have a theory based on nothing that Ward is actually a good personality to have in the changing room, and that's why he's being included in the matchday squad.

 

It's the only thing I can think of that makes sense.

 

Otherwise, if you're that worried about 2 keepers getting injured in one game, you just get Choudhury some extra Keeper training sessions. (Only half joking there...)

I've just got visions of him forgetting he can dive at players feet and just two-footing the striker into tge stands.

I'm still not convinced yet by Hermansen, He looks laboured to me making saves. But I can see why Enzo plays him because of his footwork.  Stolarczyk looks a real talent. With another year or so under Enzo I expect him to make the big breakthrough.

 

Feel sorry for Iversen, He's a fantastic shop stopper but his footwork needs a lot of improvement.

He went into goal for about 5 minutes for Watford at the end of a game last season. Unfortunately he didn't have to do anything, so there's no video out there of him diving across goal to stop a worldy with one hand haha
