Doctors and physios leave all the time. Turnover in the sector is massive. I work with Premier League club doctors and can be chatting to them about a deal at the club they are with one minute and then they’re telling me they’ve gone somewhere else the next!

Not alarming. They’ll be replaced by similar.

Theres also an awful lot of money to be earned online working for various companies as a doctor/physio at the minute

Hang on. If we haven't got any medical staff...who's doing Sensi's medical? All GPs are fully booked

Most likely their receptionists they seem to know everything about medical procedures etc.

but it wasn’t a new manager was it? It was half way through his tenure here. And i redundancy happens when that job is no longer available..  also something that hasn’t played out to be accurate

No it wasn´t but things change along the way - it happened here and it happens everywhere. Weren´t there rumours that Rennie was disclosing the team - or was that just a rumour. And little men (Rodgers) need to show power - maybe firing Rennie was it?

The 18 months prior to relegation seemed toxic and it was clear that things were falling apart.

yeah I get that things change.  But I put it to you that this was an unwarranted change  brought about needlessly.  ( Rennie leaving)

yes it was alleged that it was Rennie leaking the team sheets but we can only guess about this..

to say it was an unraveling mess at the time is 100 % accurate

I'm a big one on facts, but let's read between the lines here.

  • We had a great injury record for years.
  • Rodgers arrives and we start getting injuries.
  • He gets rid of our long-standing physio with an exceptional record for us, blaming a change in how things are done... reverses said restructuring about 18 months later.
  • Rodgers leaves and our injury record starts to improve.

I'm totally with this.

I think rodgers training methods was the problem. That and in many games last season they all looked fvcked after 70 mins.

Didn't some of the players say pre season how much harder trading was this summer.
