Yea, our South stand would be worse .

Maybe, they don't normally go there, the game hasn't started, they're checking out what the views like and the actually safe standing structure.

Has the future of the singing section, and its location been discussed in light of the positive safe standing update?

I’d assume you’d want to move centrally if safe standing was implemented along the whole Kop (option 1 and 2)?

The group at Aberdeen laying out some expectations on singing participation in the equivalent area there.

It being an unreserved seating must be a huge help.

Unreserved is the best way to do these sections without doubt. Even at Donny we sold out the “end” once we did this and moved people to more relevant parts of the ground, it worked so well.

That said I think going unreserved means you have to reduce the capacity of that stand by 10% (I think it’s that) which is not something we’d ever do in the EPL because of ££££. Maybe with relegation this change can come.

Something for the FAB to try and push and for Graeme to then sabotage from within no doubt.

Is the ‘section’ referenced here the singing section?

Next to no social media posts from UFS if so, considering it is quite a big announcement.

Would be interested to know how this will work, in terms of the position of the UFS guys and the drum. Would they stay put or try and move to a more central point of the new ‘section’?

First point yes, don't think the club's designation of "singing section" will continue.

Second point, there was a post about it immediately after it was announced, and then 4 subsequent to that about relocations so far. Mainly on twitter and Instagram, largely stopped posting on Facebook.

Last point, the core of the group are going to remain where we are at the moment. There aren't really any other options for us to be positioned. Meeting with the new stadium ops manager (the guy that got 2 standing sections off the ground and booted corporate fans out of the way at Old Trafford to make room), it was clear that if the demand is shown for it, then they'll expand into the kop. If that happened then the current spot would be perfectly central as a focal point.

Has sufficient demand been shown?

I assume the club told you a date they'd inform you - and that should be soonish (if not already) given the fact that the ST renewals period is up - or am I expecting too much of the club?

Has anyone got a seat map of where the standing sections will be in the stadium?

Pretty sure an image or the links to the club site where it will be is in here.

I think it more of a case that if the demand for standing significantly outweighs the supply next season, then they'll review it in summer 2026 and see if an expansion is justified. That's what I took from it anyway, review it on an ongoing basis.

Personally I feel one block more into the Kop would be pretty perfect, that would give around 2000 standing spaces at that end.

Is there still room in the safe standing in sk1?  We were unsuccessful in the ballot to move there so presumed it was full

According to the club, no one was unsuccessful in the safe standing ballot. If you wanted to move over I would contact the ticket office/LCFC help because there should be enough space to accommodate. You can relocate at any point, not just in the specific windows.

From what I saw yesterday SK1 is basically gone but there was availability in G1.

Really can't stress how much more enjoyable next season will be if you're in there and we've got something to get behind.

New ST window closes Monday.

Need to get G1 and SK2 more involved next season

The bigger the section and the more noise being made, there's bound to be more around the edges joining in.

Palace ultras behind the goal right now are great.

If UFS were to do something similar if we ever play in Wembley again, how many on white would there be (or whatever UFS’ alternative of wearing white t shirts would be)?

Especially with safe standing and there not being a designated “section anymore”.

Hopefully it’s not just the section making the noise but it flows down the kop and around the G1 corner.
