I saw some pics of Saturdays tin pot cup game and the fox outline at the end of king power on the seats has been blued out now.

 

Not sure when that happened, but the seats are shot it, they revamped the colour 10 years ago I reckon they used a blow torch to bring them back but now they’re dreadful.

 

Off topic, that frieze should never have been taken down. 
 

A young Nige as well. When was that taken? 7 years after it was built so still relatively new, seats are now 25 years old or thereabouts.

Has to be more LCFC specific as opposed to KP. Tigers have a wall of all their best past players on the outside. It would be nice if we could do something similar. Also would been nice as to have a statue of Wes, Claudio and Vardy with the PL trophy.

You make some good points, but even with what has been achieved since the move, the ground still doesn't have enough of a feel about it to me. The KP lettering in the seats and the two large screens at either end are two big reasons for that. The screens look unsightly attached to the top of the North and South stands.

There aim from the off was to push the KP name even at the expense of larger sponsorship. As far as they are concerned it's always been LCFC didn't exist before KP well until now that they are trying to sell it.

 

As I've posted many times before externally you'd be hard pushed until the recent banners went up (probably when they decided to sell) that it looks like KPFC. Inside the stadium one of their first acts was to remove the banner showing past LCFC sussesses and replaced it with the KP Stadium Est 1884. Leicester City Football Club hidden behind the big screens.

ive never fully warmed to the kp and the reasons you've listed is part of it, it has no identity whatsoever and doesn't attempt to pay homage to his clubs rich history

if safe standing was implemented properly the kp could of had a decent atmosphere because there is a proportion of the fan who do want to create an atmosphere

Yeah it was summer 2016 they blow torched the seats I'm pretty sure, we were at the ground tifo prepping when they were doing it.

The Thai flags which were along the top of the stands have been taken down.

Fair play to one chap from UFS who pretty much every two months chased the club relentlessly to fix the rail around the top of the stand. Was pied off relentlessly but kept on at them until they repaired it last week.
