Draper still marked down with unknown injury when looking up women’s super league injuries, can anyone shed any light on what the issue is and expected returns because that’s best part 3 mths now so are we looking at a nasty knee injury but if so why does it seem to be guarded?

Thought we'd have a good season with a new manager and some new recruits. Seems like that we have gone backwards, I know that we have some of our better players injured, still expected better results though.

Must ask questions about the manager.

We are a poorly run team. Not kicked on from mid season last year.

we would have done if a certain player hadn't started a relationship with the manager.

They need to invest quite heavily int he squad if they actually want people to take them seriously, starting with a superstar striker, yeah we don't have a striker fit but its not like Petermann scored loads last season either

Cold, wet and peed off after that!

Negative from the off, half arsed press, easy day for Man City.

I watched Missy for a couple of minutes in the 2nd half and she just has no idea what’s being asked of her, Rose must offer nothing in training if Takarada is preferred up top.

No idea on Denny Draper injury, not sure how long left for Shannon and Petermann, Tierney is January and Rantala I heard was 4 months so Jan/Feb.

Honestly dont think it will make much difference, when we lost to Palace I had questions about this manager just 3 games in, 2 months on we don’t even look like scoring let along winning, and we’re sleep walking towards relegation.

Shannon O'Brien posted a training video of her scoring in a game so she must be fairly close

She’ll walk back into the team easily, it’s whether this manager utilises her correctly which I doubt very much.

Can’t see them playing that at the KP, same weekend as QPR, probably be at Burton as most cup games are.

Hearing Shannon O’Brien may be back Saturday.

MIQUEL OUT!

I’m hoping it won’t be too long, confidence is draining out of them, there must have been 3 or 4 occasions yesterday where individual players came over to ask what they were supposed to be doing. Whatever Project it is, it needs scrapping.

you clearly follow the women's game closely, if they did make that move who would you like to see come in? I personally have no clue about coaches/managers in the women's game

Carla Ward stepped away in the summer from Villa, citing that she wanted to spend some time with family, I’d certainly offer her the job if she was interested even if it was short term until the end of the season.

Casey Stoney is currently out of work, knows the WSL well and has management experience.

Remi Allen is from Leicester and had 2 spells with us, currently coach at Southampton, again she knows the WSL well and could be considered.

There isn’t a huge amount of options, but the team have regressed hugely under Miquel.

Carla Ward has said she’s ready to return to management and as she lives in Sheffield it would be a much shorter commute to Leicester than it was to Villa.

She’d be a good option, and probably realistic, but whoever is manager, the squad needs significant investment.

Being perennial relegation contenders isn’t going to help attract players or coaches.  Or supporters for that matter.  Leicester seem locked in a vicious circle.
