They are ranked 3rd by Fifa and Wales 29th. Rankings arent the be all and end all mind you, but there is something to take from that stat.

In International football as a thing they are one of the better sides with one of the best talent pools, however you want to carve it up.

 

Your argument about Danny Ward being an international, therefore winning caps for any nation (even good ones) being a moot point is just a bit daft!
