It isn't though. Reckon tomorrow night could be a sub 30K attendance judging by the ticket site.

They'll report it as full for PSR though.

How does reporting it as full affect PSR?

Leicester City Supporters club bang on as usual. We are fortunate to have such well priced tickers apparently. Just 51 quid in the kop tomorrow.

Did Bason write that post?

Looking at the number of seats still on sale, I’d be very surprised if the attendance on Tuesday surpasses 30,000. Considering it’s only a category B fixture, I think we’re likely to see several sub 30,000 attendance this season. Surely at some point it becomes more cost effective to lower the ticket price and fill the stadium. The less tickets sold the better.

Fewer tickets sold = less money paid to ShowSec for their agency stewards (who get paid minimum wage with ShowSec taking a fat fee on top)?

What is the fvcking point of this utterly pointless campaign continuing? It started as a wet fart and has managed to snowball into a slight lingering smell in the air.

It’s a self satisfied, smug, middle class, tea in the village hall with the vicar and the Women’s Institute, writing a strongly worded email to the BBC about the lesbian kiss on The Archers kinda protest. A banner from the FSA that no club will allow inside a stadium, some worthless pictures of gurning fans that no media is bothering to carry? It’s symptomatic of the modern ailment where no one is ever prepared to take responsibility and put themselves out to effect change, preferring to whine and wait for others to change things for them. It’s fvcking pathetic.

Nothing happens while customers continue to donate the contents of their bank accounts to clubs and sit in seats like good little sheep.

Nothing.

This - 100%

Simple math says that as long as the stadium is above 25,000, they’ll be happy.

If attendances drop too much, then it’ll start to impact concessions sales of food, half and half scarves, programs etc. So they still need a decent footfall through the stadium.

They’ll roughly know by demographic what everyone is spending extra on each section.

So if block A is a £10 ticket but spends an extra £30 on food, drinks and a filbert the fox every game. That’s worse than just charging block B £50. And they spend nothing. It’ll all be modelled and they are in business to make money for King Power ultimately.

We should be honoured they let us into their stadium to watch the mighty King Power FC.

But people will moan, but still go, Daggers is right, but we're terrible at protesting.

Good to see this getting a lot of coverage. If Liverpool and Man U fans can get together anyone can:

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/jan/06/prices-have-risen-800-since-1992-the-premier-league-fans-unions-campaigning-for-affordable-tickets

Two groups sharing an entitled whine still won’t change a single damn thing.

Empty seats and empty shops has always been the only solution, but happy clappy “fans” are too spineless or stupid to withdraw their presence and cash.

The reality is that no one paying to attend professional matches actually gives a serious shit about being ripped off or the mismanagement of the game - see Purpleronnie’s “if I don’t go then someone else will” post.
