They very quickly will if someone crosses the line.  The UTD Fans have been protesting for years. Where has it got them. Nowehere.

Fans have no legal standing in any Football Club to my knowledge. Other than being Fans of the Football team.

As I've said in another post our Fans past up on that chance when Lineker and Heskey saved the Club.

Who's on about legal standings? Who's taking legal action against the club?

It's our club, not his.

We can hold him accountable as much as we want.

The problem with it being 'our' club is that this is the spirit of the game. I entirely agree that I own the club in a way that Top and his cronies never ever will.

Unfortunately, some time in the twentieth century actual ownership rights were established in such a way that any claim to fan ownership was legally fenced out. They allow us the illusion that we have some claim to it but make no mistake - we absolutely don't.

Plenty of threads to slag off the ownership - this is about 5 people that died. Seriously our fans sometimes - bewildering

Apologies. Should know better! Any of my posts aren't meant disrespectfully.

So then it's just bluster or bark without bite.

I understand Fans frustrations I really do. But I doubt anyone believes the bad decisions were made with the intension to hurt the Club.

At least we haven't spent 81 million on a player like Utd in the Summer they now want to dump.

And that was Ratcliffes decision, Supposedly the Clubs saviour.

The one thing I've learned in Football is it's evolutionary. Good times and bad times.

I guess the case put forward by King Power against the manufacturer will centre around what they could have done to mitigate any known design fault, then having known about it, have they made alterations to other units that are still in service.

Unfortunately if other units are still within operation and they haven’t been modified, then evidence suggest whilst something could be better, other units haven’t crashed.

It then centres around routine maintenance, recommended schedules, planned preventative maintenance, etc

Most sales contracts have force majeure (acts of god), or limited liability for mechanical failure. This is normally limited to the cost of the initial purchase.

They’ll also likely have had consequential loses within the contract for similar reasons.

More large organisations have travel polices in place, discouraging senior team members from travelling together, so they don’t have a severe impact to business in the instance of tragic events.
