Archie Collins is interesting. We’ve not seen Braybrooke in the deep lying role yet which may indicate RM doesn’t see him in that position. If that’s not the case then I would be surprised to see us add further there until someone leaves as we already have Skipp, Hamza and Braybrooke for that role.

I think it's more a lack of options in the attacking midfield positions. With the formation we're currently playing, which looks like a 4-1-4-1, we need cover for LM, RM and two CM positions.

 

At the moment, we only have Mavididi, Alves, Chaplin, Braybrooke and Evans with any real senior football experience to fill those roles.

 

In contrast, we have more options at CDM, with Skipp, Hamza and Braybrooke all capable of playing there.

 

So I suspect it's a case of necessity rather than choice.

I’m not so sure- throughout his loans he has ended up higher up the pitch and I think he ends up playing higher up. I reckon it’s more likely we sign another 6 if Skipp goes than an 8, think it’s Braybrooke vs Page for that role

I've watched a lot of his games at Chesterfield, and he was definitely playing more of a No. 6 role. However, when you're in a dominant team, your No. 6 naturally ends up further forward and becomes more involved in attacking play.

 

For me, I see him as more of a Winks-type player, although he's also capable of being more attack-minded when needed.

 

A lot depends on who stays, who leaves, and who we bring in. I think Martin's hand could be forced depending on how the squad shapes up.

 

Alves is another example. I'd say right wing is probably his least comfortable position. However, he's the most senior and experienced player we currently have available to play there.

 

I'm less bothered about where the likes of Alves and Braybrooke play. I just want them in the team, getting minutes, developing, and making an impact.

Whilst I didn’t see any of their games, I believe he was pushed slightly further forward towards end of the season and really impressed?

 

With Skipp, Hamza & Neale as options at 6, Sammy probably has a much better role for us in one of the 8 roles.

He just looked impressive in either the 6 or 8 role.

I think at least one Skipp or Hamza move on, I don't see Neale as a starter at 6 at them moment.
