I would be very confident in Evans scoring that chance Carranza had against Swansea. Even though Carranza is playing at a higher level the way he took that chance seemed very unnatural whereas Evans is a natural goalscorer. That kind of instinct doesnt change because of the opposition theyre playing against.

Well yeah but you dont get promoted to the first team based on your performances at u18 level you get promoted by performing at u21 level where he was performing well but not necessarily scoring or assisting regularly.

He's on 0.51 G+A per 90 in the championship. Not much difference.

 

Evans was on 0.82 G+A per 90 last season in PL2 and is on 0.67 per 90 this season after a slow start to the season for him.

Sol thewall Bamba was saying that Monga's goals and assists dropped off after moving to the first team and i was just showing that so far his output is similar to when he was in the u21s. Obviously he has a lot more to his game than just goals.
