Posting photos/gifs

I can never seem to add photos straight from google or my camera roll, even if I compress or upload a small version, it always seems to exceed the 1.3 limit. 
 

How are people posting haha takes me far too long to find something that will work

Either post to an image hosting site and embed here via the URL.

Or just convert to smaller size files using an online converter. There's also lots of 3rd party apps on iPhone app store like "Compress Photos & Pictures", there's probably similar on Android. 

 

On Mac, Preview allows you to re-save images and specify their compression. I haven't used Windows for 25 years, but I imagine Office has something similar.

I'm not seeing the add media button anymore which allowed me to post a photo or gif from my phones camera roll. All I see is the Other Media button for posting from url or existing attachments from the site 

 

It's been a while since I regularly posted on here but there was an add media option wasn't there ?

Turns out it’s because you’ve exceeded the amount of upload space

Those that donate do get an increase of space, I know you did a few years ago so that’s why you’ve managed to exceed past it

Is there a reason I only have "Max total size: 11.57 kB" (basically nothing) as standard in terms of adding files? 

 

Super upset that I can't even post still images, let alone get my GIF on. Especially after a goal like that... 😢

I've only just found the 'attachment quota'. Is there any way of upping that from 48MB in total?

 

I've deleted most of my old posts to free up space for now.

How often do people, in general, donate?

 

 

 

To get more income from it, just a suggestion, it could be worth getting the 'Donate' button moved to around the top somewhere?
