foxesfan69 Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 I don't think Hoddle would actually be that bad of an appointment. But i can see where the majority of people on this board are coming from when they are talking about Phil Thompson coming in. The disciplinary troubles would definately improve and I'm sure he could manage us.(if only untill the end of the season to get us promoted )

Hoddle has a track record of upsetting players, it happens time and time again. We do not need that shit at this club. I have read some autobiographies of players who played under him, the guy was critisised heavily. As for Thompson, the guy have about 10 games worth of experience, it's ridiculous to suggest him as a serious candidate. We need a manager with experience not a rookie!!
Babylon Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 What about Jean Tigana? 21725 British please!!!
Mark Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 What about Jean Tigana? 21725 British please!!! 21728 Well i certainly wouldnt mind him. We'd play good football, he'd certainly mix it up a bit and he did a great job at Fulham. Dont be picky now
Guest Daniel Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 What about you make a decent suggestion foxesfan69? Hoddle Thompson Houllier Come back when your using your brain.

Dont be picky now 21729 He also spent an absolute fortune doing so.... 11million on Steve Marlet?!? He'd be lucky to have 11 pence to spend here. Brian Little
foxesfan69 Posted 25 September 2004 Author Posted 25 September 2004 i was only joking about Houllier. Hoddle was only a half-hearted suggestion and a lot of people wouldn't seem to mind Thompson. By the way, who do you suggest anyway Blue Mistress
Guest Daniel Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 I dont think anyone could do worse than Adams. We only need a motivator this season. We got some half decent players and some good youngsters coming through.

Guest Daniel Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 He didnt do a very good job then, his motivation skills are non existant. I think i could motivate them better than does. How about Mr Motivator? He's not got a job anymore.
filbertway Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 When we get this new manager, we arent going to turn on him if he doesnt win in his first ten games in charge are we? That comment has nothing to do with micky. What about gary mac as manager he did ok at cov, he would have some passion.
Babylon Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 We need someone who is doing a bit more than OK!! Alot of outsiders would say Adams is doing OK!!
filbertway Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 well he turned them from poor to a team scoring and playing well, thats what we need. I think he would care more as well, but thats my po
Babylon Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 but thats my po 21782 whats you po got to do with it!!!! I'm not saying we should go for him but Brian Little is doing well at tranmere, obviously alot of humble pie would need eating but he did VERY well here before. I'm not saying i would go for him, but it's an interesting thought
Cobbo Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 po = personal opinion sorry 21784 Wouldn't that be POS? Ahem, I'm sorry. Downing a few stellas like, bit of a crap result ay

Babylon Posted 25 September 2004 Posted 25 September 2004 ok, watch the stuff, stella makes you violent. 21793 Wigston Utd Ressies are in for it then 21797 Where do they play?? Is it on Blaby Road Park?

It's all good though Bring them on.
