Might be a stupid question, but why on earth would McCarron want to come here? Seems a big step down given his recent employment history.

Isn’t it basically a promotion from his current role? Higher profile position and a pay-rise at a smaller club. Doesn’t matter though, he won’t be here long.

With the man city connections I wonder if top is planning a club sale to the city group.

I don’t believe they can do. No two clubs in the same footballing association (ie the FA)

It’s a huge position in all fairness Regardless of the mess we are in

McCarrons background is in Elite Perfomance, Recruitment, academy infrastructures and a PhD sports science background too boot.

He’s essentially being handed the keys too easily one of the best sporting facilities in world football, with his background it’s probably a dream to have the opportunity, and if he turns it around for us behind the scenes I imagine from his own professional point of view it would do his career wonders

we’ll see I guess

Ha! A dream job.

Turn up first day to work, Rudkin appears and says 'Good morning!. Here is a document that explain how the board expect us to play. Oh, and by the way, Russell Martin is in for his final interview at 11am. After that, im off to watch Top play Polo for a few weeks'.
