We are also a bigger club than them and closer to MK. So bit of a difference there.

Now there's a good talking point. Are we a bigger club than wolves?

We are geographically nearer but trains for them are prob more convenient???

Yes, no doubt about it. 15 years ago I’d say we were two very similar sized clubs but since then we’re comfortably ahead.

Possibly.

But Wolves (and Coventry when they took about 8,000 there) probably encourage their fans to travel by allowing general sale and I assume also advertise that tickets are available. We've reluctantly put this on sale to people with purchase history (but not general sale), and as far as I know have made zero attempt to communicate that, other than by people stumbling across it when looking at the away tickets section on the website.  It is live on TV though, with an inconvenient (for some) kick off time, and our away form has been dreadful for a few years, so approx. 6,000 still isn't a bad effort.

Yeah that was my point I made on here last week. We really are so poor at pushing sales and the way we categorise/different brackets etc.

I don't use social media, but have they tried to push sales for this in any way using those various forms?

I've not received a single email about it other than the first one that told me it's now on sale for my priority bracket, and I've not seen a single mention of it on the main news page on the website.

Of course they haven't. A huge away following is no benefit to them in fact is more of an incovinience so of course they haven't pushed it.

No one's taking 9k anywhere unless it's just before a title win with the sun out or a local game where the home side have shit fans (see Forest).

Mate they're by far a bigger club than us, 15 years ago if you took away all their major trophies they'd only be 1 league cup behind us

You seriously think that Wolverhampton Wanderers are a much bigger club than Leicester City?

You seriously believe that?

Well that's a lie for a start they've got a supporters club with over 50 members where I live in Blackpool. I also had a chat with a group of them in Benidorm last month hahaha

The club with 11 major honours compared to our 5? Yes obviously.

Naaah that’s enough FoxesTalk for an evening😂😂😂😂😂

What's up with you hahaha, you keep reeling off clubs that have a bigger trophy cabinet and similar fanbase if not bigger than ours. What are you basing the size of the clubs on?

1. Common sense.

2. Major honours isn’t everything, it’s part of it..not even the majority. If you apply that logic then Bucharest and Red Star Belgrade are bigger clubs than Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio and Sporting Lisbon.
3. Fanbase.

4. Modern Era achievements and Reputation.
5. Facilities.

6. Brand recognition and Pedigree

7. Attendances

Football is a completely different sport to what it was pre mid 90s.
