Not sure where he fits now with the system change. Same with Aluko.

He’ll be a RWB option.

Aluko back up as one of the wide centre backs.

Aluko could play right centre back instead of O' Hora, but it won't happen

JJ would be competing for right wing back with Alves, he was playing as one last season at Tranmere

Could probably be competition for left wing back as well

Aluko I expect is seen more of an option for right centre back where O’Hora plays

I can see Joseph as RWB and Alves moved over to the other side or even competing with Braybrooke, Doyle, Reid and Chaplin for those central roles.

Also, as we improve and become more confident I wouldn't rule out switching back to the previous formation occasionally or regularly as the players become better.

Long term I think Braybrooke at RAM and Alves RWB is probably a bit awkward on the RH side.

                   Riis

   Doyle                    Alves

       Lundstram  Page

Thomas                          JJ

      CB         CB      CB

                    GK

Is probably our best team and very harsh on Braybrooke

So many question marks in this squad currently. He has to play though as gives us much needed pace. I'd move Alves centrally instead of Doyle and Joseph at RWB.

Really. Think Doyle has been one of best players since starting.  (I'd move Alves to left wing back and drop Thomas)

He's been decent but I don't like having barely any left footers in the side, especially at LWB with 3 right footed CBs. As i've said, there's so many question marks in this squad right now.

We used so much of the rebuild capital on accumulation similar nothing-y players. Cullen, Chaplin, Burns and Smallbone is insane when we already had Reid.

We stacked our loans up with 10/wingers too with the exception of McFarlane. A younger GK, a younger DM and left footed LB/CB option would have added way more balance.

We’ve spent a lot of money relatively for our financial position but it’s been quite badly allocated really. It has to work out.
