Failed upwards then bought their own hype?

Vichai was still great, but sure got lucky with the core we had at this club that has since been hollowed out by idiot child.

Was he great? The only donation we know of was to the Infirmary and they had to ask for it three times.

Its all been a complete lie

Let's be honest, Top father was better and ruthless. Top is dung and toothless. His father had the dream and hes just a nightmare. He should have gone alot time ago as he can't get rid of boy toy Rudkins. Thr king power the came in is not the king power right now.

I think that's a bit too revisionist. As lucky as he was, he was still the right man, in the right position, at the right time, in the same way that Ranieri was.

Aim all your anger at idiot child and his anal beads.

So really lucky man at the right time but let’s have him parade with the trophy around the pitch with the ****ing king of Thailand?

Our success is down to Nigel Pearson. End of. Without him wanting to come back we’d have just been in this situation much earlier.

Spot on.

There were some questionable moments to say the least, but we are practically state owned.

I'm sure the Emirates did similar at Man City.

The success we had was built on the foundations of the Pearson, Walsh and Shakespeare trinity. Without them, we would have been in similar situation to Sheffield Wednesday, Derby and Reading all the way to now.

Vichai was at least ruthless and wise enough to delegate the football side to people that knew what they were doing.

Success went to their heads, Vichai passed, and the rest is history.

Complacency and arrogance might as well be put in writing as core club values.

Vichai appointed Rudkin, I think he would sack him eventually but the guy had no football nous at all. He was just lucky Pearson was happy to come back after facilitating his ousting in the first place.

Each passing year vindicates the work Nigel did, he was working 10 years in front, under NP we demolished exactly the sort of lazy, flabby, regressive club we are now.

It’s not even trite or lazy to suggest him as a manager anymore, he’s got a brain, a pair of bollocks and he loves the club which means far more than any coaching ability (or lack of it at this stage) does. Get him back
