Martin is terrible, one of the worst there has ever been (him having a PL promotion is absolutely mad to me) but I don't think this team will be fixed that easily. There's some proper, proper rubbish in that team.

 

There is, I think left back and keeper are still very obvious problem positions that we seem determined to perennially ignore and instead signed a tonne of wingers and midfielders, and we are going to be stuck with a lot of 5'6" waifs for a long time after Martin has gone (signings his fingerprints are all over) but there is a potential first XI that I'd say is broadly very good and potentially even exciting. But he continues to make baffling choices.

 

Constant rotation of the defence, including twats who don't even want to be here and, in one case, playing someone days before they signed for someone else – seemingly at random is beyond me. Bringing Okoli in today is madness. He has no future here and he cannot kick a football. He could turn out to be complete shite but Kangasniemi should be one of the first names in any team at the moment.

 

The worst part of today, a bit like Barnsley, is he'll think one nicely worked goal in a shite result justifies his "plan."

Talking of fingerprints all over it, I can’t believe you have to give your fingerprints over now when you get a standard arrest!
