I don't want an argument either but I'll just say I don't really get the correlation between what the fans do and what the professionals on the pitch do. Our fans aren't on the pitch. IMO the "professionals" should be able to rise above it.

Our football club is extremely fortunate that the majority of our fanbase are so passive.

100% respect to Savage, just watched his post match interview, hes everything Martin isnt, he had 10 days with them, but in that short space of time hes got his message across, they clearly know what they are doing, hes got them playing direct football and he made Martin look a complete fraud, what we need is a manager that plays direct football, for me Fuch is the answer, if ever we needed a manager to get the club back on track and fans on board. Premier winner, universally loved by the fans but would he risk coming back the state club in now !

I disagree.

 

The fans haven’t caused the club to play like this. 

 

The club is a disgrace.

 

This could be the biggest football club mismanagement in British history. 

 

You can’t blame the fans for what we have witnessed for the last 2.5 years.

Yep. Wouldn't mind if we lived close but we dont. My step dad has a st at Wigan. They are also garbage but at least its only 20 mins from our house so the kids dont mind going there. Feels like child cruelty keep dragging them to leicester to be honest.

Don't even go there .... fans react to what they are seeing .... I've lost count the number of times the fans have raised the atmosphere to frenzy and lifted the team ... poor football and poor players cost points

Loved the chanting about Martin's football and sideways and backwards.

 

Maybe a few are finally waking up.

 

The drones who seemingly want to see us fail because th y can't face change will see they're being outnumbered.

 

Won't be there next week and don't give a shit if they win 6-0. We have a conman in charge and a careless owner at the helm.

Goals to shots ratio utter tripe.

 

Down to the shitty style where opposition can get good defensive shape with slow build up,  or we just dont have talent to score goals now.

That passing move to nowhere summed up this approach. Players with an age on the ball, space to play, taking the very safe option, giving all the opposition the chance to settle and block it out.

 

This is not pretty to watch, it is ineffective, dire fare.

I do increasingly think we have brought in a load of rubbish and that this isn't simply going to improve even when we do bin the bloke.

 

Martin is terrible, one of the worst there has ever been (him having a PL promotion is absolutely mad to me) but I don't think this team will be fixed that easily. There's some proper, proper rubbish in that team.
