Cobbo Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Not too bad I suppose, definately winnable. Walcott v Smith Part II, let's hope Smudger can outshine him again. Let's hope he gets bought by someone soon Home draws are always better, certainly winnable.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 They do get the same treatment. As for Fryatt, he's already scored twice in the Fa Cup this season so he'll be cup tied. Still no confirmation on his signing though. I'm surprised really because Levein said he would hear back from an un-named striker about signing within 48 hours and that was on friday. That un-named striker appears to be Fryatt, so what's the hold up? Sounds similar to the Lovell saga when he asked for a day or so to think. Thanks and keep up the g8t work.Must be a FT job sorting this lot out.Can you juggle?Heard Fryatt may be off to the Wolves if doesn't sign for us.
Ric Flair Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Thanks and keep up the g8t work.Must be a FT job sorting this lot out.Can you juggle?Heard Fryatt may be off to the Wolves if doesn't sign for us. See the Fryatt thread mate, sounds like it's about completed. Time to Party!
Louise Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Levein's reaction: Manager Gives Reaction To DrawCraig Levein says City will have to overcome tough opposition in the form of Southampton if they are to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup. The Foxes began their cup journey with a magnificent 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday night. And now Leicester will have to dispatch George Burley's side if they are to make it through to the last 16. Levein said: "I believe that when you draw a side from your own division in a cup competition they are the hardest ties you can get. It is not a glamour tie and it is not a minnow you are playing against. "The pleasing thing is we are at home. It will be a difficult match but I think that we have got a reasonable chance of getting through. "You get who you get and we now have to work out how to get through to the next round." http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~765761,00.html
lush Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Southampton at home is a game we can definately win. Its not harry`s game anymore, their in transitional stage, only just beat mk dons, yes i feel confident.
syston_fox Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Optimist them? Didn't I see a post from you giving us no chance vs Spurs? I prefer the term realist. And I didnt think we had a chance at spurs but i dont think i posted about it on here.
Frenzied Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Boswollox - just realised I'll be on holiday for the Soton game.
john_lcfc Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 what a shit draw. wanted a big side away or a crap team home or away. ended up with a team a bit better than us at home who will probably knock it out but who knows
The People's Hero Posted 9 January 2006 Posted 9 January 2006 Levein's press conference has a worrying air of caution about it. 4-5-1 anyone?
