Bert Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 If you guys want to see what New College Leicester is like then tune into central news or east midlands today (if you are in that region) we've had camera crews there all day
Libertine Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 Oh yes, luckily I avoided them, wouldn't ever want to be shown on tele at school.
Libertine Posted 19 January 2006 Posted 19 January 2006 Why were the camera crews there??? Because we have the worst attendance record in Britain, apparently. Doesn't help having Western Park right next to the place. <_<

Libertine Posted 20 January 2006 Posted 20 January 2006 Not as bad as it's made out to be honest. But obviously the truancy, supply teacher issues etc are very bad.
Bert Posted 20 January 2006 Author Posted 20 January 2006 come on then new collegers give us some stories of what goes on at yo school? You have to go there to find out Not as bad as it's made out to be honest. But obviously the truancy, supply teacher issues etc are very bad. Correct Lib, it isn't but maybe we feel this 'cos we go there and are used to this happening, the place has had it's problems but i believe it's the headteachers wanting to do everything there way and not listenin anyone else's plans. Over the past year, the place was IMO made like a prison and the uniform rule was silly if you had a tiny bit of colour other than black or White on you were sent home. (lower school) Also our last principle made a fuss about going to the toilet during lesson time, when i no for a FACT he had his own personal toilet in his office. But seriously don't believe everything you read from the mercury.
