Levein_Out Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Hi Leicester fans! I am a Hearts fan who feels very sorry for you lot at the moment. Craig Levein is a shocking manager! I could not believe it when I heard the utter rubbish he was signing for you lot. Rab Douglas was a laughing stock of Scottish football! Joe Hamill was one of the worst players in the Hearts team. He is a total wimp and is scared to put a tackle in. Patrick Kisnorbo is an embarrassment! We picked him up from Australian amateur football and he was never good enough for us so how Levein thought he would be good enough for you lot I will never know! Mark De Vries played well in one game for us (where he scored 4 goals on his debut against Hibs) but from the rest of the time he was with us he was a big diddy! The only decent player that Levein brought with him from Scottish football was Alan Mayberry. As a person Levein was arrogant and cocky! He treated the younger players in the team like sh*t! He also managed to turn Hearts into one of the most boring teams in Scottish football with his constant negative tactics! I have always said when he went to England he would get found out. Well........I hate to say I told you so but................ Get him out now guys before its to late!

See that's the strange thing, i've heard a few Hearts players say that but at Leicester he worships younger players and is obsessed with signing youngsters. Wasn't he responsible for bringing through Webster and Gordon though?

Ric Flair Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Was Gordon playing 1st team when CL left? He would of only of been 20. Yes he was.

Wasn't he responsible for bringing through Webster and Gordon though? Thats so he can manipulate them! You have to be able to manage all the squad not just the kids!
Milky Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 you have to ask questions of why we appointed him in the first place reading some of these comments from hearts fans. did we do no research before giving him the job, or did they just look at the league table in scotland.

lush Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 There seems to be alot of "hearts fans" telling us how sorry they are....
Darth Fox Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 There seems to be alot of "hearts fans" telling us how sorry they are.... They are probably sympathising as they got rid of Levein and now see someone equally as incompetent in charge at Tynecastle again namely Graham Rix. They'llm end up mid table behind Celtic, Rangers, Killie, Hibs and we'll end up rock bottom of Championship at this rate.

I think deep down they want Levien back, they just trying to stoke us up and try and get him the sack so he can eff off back to scotland!!!
Darth Fox Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 I think deep down they want Levien back, they just trying to stoke us up and try and get him the sack so he can eff off back to scotland!!! I don't think we need much stoking!
Dr The Singh Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 I don't think we need much stoking! Very true, the whole forum at the moment is very stoked, that Levien has upset and made angry alot of people!! If Hearts fans want him so much then why don't they get there investor\owner to buy Leviens contract!!! I know it sounds silly and there's no chance of that happening, nobody is that daft but at the moment i'll take any method to get rid of him!!
Levein_Out Posted 24 January 2006 Author Posted 24 January 2006 I think deep down they want Levien back, they just trying to stoke us up and try and get him the sack so he can eff off back to scotland!!! I dont think so mate! We will stick will Graham Rix thank you very much! At least he has got us playing attacking football and the fans are not sitting in the stands almost falling asleep with boredom like we were when Levein was in charge! When Levein was at Hearts the crowds went right down. We were only taking about 12,000 to each game. Now we are getting gates of 17,500 + every game because the football is exciting again!
Milky Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 for what it's worth he was championed by MON as one of the best managers in Scotland and someone who could build a side to challenge for honours at the time we signed him i'm well aware of that, but what was martin supposed to say, he couldn't exactly slag him off, plus martin didn't go to every single hearts match did he. As far as one of the best managers in scotland goes, is there really much competition in those stakes.

That is very true. I often wondered why a team 3rd in the league was only getting 12k and you've answerred that for me. He's taken foxes crowds down a few thousand also. If he does go I hope he never manages again. 451 what is 451 one, sounds like a Boeing 451 series CHA>NW1 type plane.
Ric Flair Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Levein doesn't make us play boring football though. Up until a month or so ago we were playing attacking football. This myth that Levein is a defensive manager is bollocks, he's just a crap manager.
Milky Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Levein doesn't make us play boring football though. he hasn't exactly got a plan B though has he, perhaps it's the lack of variation that make it boring for many people
Ric Flair Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 he hasn't exactly got a plan B though has he, perhaps it's the lack of variation that make it boring for many people Most managers haven't either. Hearts fans have talked at length on here about how boring he used to make Hearts play and how he used to fill the team full of hard workers who can run all day and often had 5 or 6 defenders playing in the starting eleven. He doesn't do that here though does he? We've played 4-5-1 about half a dozen times in well over a year and all away from home against tough opposition. He's bought 4 strikers to this club along with one of the best wingers we've seen at this club in the past 10 years. That's not the signs of a defensive manager. People get confused with the fact we're about to be relegated. He could be an attacking manager or a defensive manager and it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference, whatever style of manager you are you need to be good at getting results with it. We aren't getting results and it will cost us our championship status. Is that boring football? Probably, but it's boring because we never win. We never win because we are crap, not because we are defensive. I wish Hearts fans would stop talking about his defensive style, it bores the **** out of me.
chunx Posted 24 January 2006 Posted 24 January 2006 Get him out now guys before its to late! We would of done a long time ago if it had been our choice!

This myth that Levein is a defensive manager is bollocks, he's just a crap manager. It was no myth when he was at Hearts mate. Ask any Hearts fan. I watched your cup game against Spurs and it was like watching the old Levein Hearts all over again. He set out with a totally defensive formation and team! It wasnt until you went 2 goals, took numpty Hammill off and put a forward on before you started playing!

It wasnt until you went 2 goals, took numpty Hammill off and put a forward on before you started playing! As i've said he's only played 4-5-1 about half a dozen times in 15 months. All against either premiership opposition or tough championship teams away from home. He did the same v Spurs for the first 30 mins and then changed it. He doesn't play defensive football here, perhaps he should.
