Radio Leicester says there have been over 100 applicants for the job, one definately being Gudjon Thordarson.

Thordasson keen on Leicester job

Former Stoke manager Gudjon Thordasson has become the latest applicant for the vacant manager's post at Leicester, reports BBC Radio Leciester.

Thordasson who spent three years at the Britannia Stadium before being sacked, joins ex-Derby boss John Gregory among the candidates to succeed Micky Adams.

The Foxes are thought to have over 100 interested parties to choose from.

Caretaker boss Dave Bassett and acting first team coach Howard Wilkinson are in charge until a decision is made.

I'll be happy with Gudjon. Get him in. He did well at Stoke, lets get a bit of a foreign influence on this team. He'll get us passing at least to suit his son Joey.

RL also say that it is 'very unlikely' that a manager will be appointed next week..so we might have to be looking till around the Cardiff game.

You wish, Nope we are out of the quality league. Bit like the footballers we can muster up, has beens, never has beens, risky youngsters and crocks.

Not that youngsters ever got much of a look in.

I dont either, English club.

I know Arsenal and all that work with foreign managers but i dont like it.

i want a football team that win games not that bothered who is in charge , i do think gary mac , steve cotterill , mike newell would all be good choices
