Mark Posted 25 February 2006 Posted 25 February 2006 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~794210,00.html Leicester City's remarkable run in the under 18s continued on Saturday when they recorded an impressive 4-0 victory at Tottenham Hotspur.Steve Beaglehole's young charges had gone into the game on the back of a three-match winning run. And that record was further extended following the devastating demolition of the Premiership giants. Eric Odihambo, Ashley Chambers, Jay Smedley and Joe Mattock grabbed the goals on the day - with all four coming in the first half of the contest. Speaking after the game, Academy Director Jon Rudkin said: "The lads have got a great spirit and it was another good win for us. "The young players can see a clear path to the first team at this club, and watching the likes of Richard Stearman and James Wesolowski progress to the first team can't do their motivation any harm. "We've got some good players here and they got no less than they deserved today."

Louise Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 Report from a Spurs site: http://www.spursodyssey.com/0506/u18le250206.html They seem to blame too much of our 'luck' on the wind. <_< But Chambo's goal seems like a good one: Leicester went further ahead when Chambers freekick found the top left corner from well over 20 yds.

Ric Flair Posted 27 February 2006 Posted 27 February 2006 Chambers is back amongst the goals, that's about 5 in the last month I think at various levels?
mat_j101 Posted 27 February 2006 Posted 27 February 2006 he sounds really good, but hes so young if we play him in our first team already, he might get snapped up by a bigger club
andyh1884 Posted 27 February 2006 Posted 27 February 2006 he sounds really good, but hes so young if we play him in our first team already, he might get snapped up by a bigger club or snapped in half by a big lumbering centre-back
