And that record was further extended following the devastating demolition of the Premiership giants. Eric Odihambo, Ashley Chambers, Jay Smedley and Joe Mattock grabbed the goals on the day - with all four coming in the first half of the contest. Speaking after the game, Academy Director Jon Rudkin said: "The lads have got a great spirit and it was another good win for us. "The young players can see a clear path to the first team at this club, and watching the likes of Richard Stearman and James Wesolowski progress to the first team can't do their motivation any harm.
