Milky Posted 5 March 2006 Posted 5 March 2006 Taylor admitted he was prepared for a collective outpour of vitriol from Leicester fans but in truth the abuse from the stands was low-key and barely audible. And he said: "I was surprised because I thought there would be more. "But I would also say I appreciate that because I'm realistic to know that I wasn't a popular manager here and I didn't do as well as people would have liked, especially me." link perhaps we should have given him more abuse, he may actually start to believe that we have all forgiven him!
spirefox Posted 5 March 2006 Posted 5 March 2006 No,Taylor is history,a bad memory best put behind us.We should adopt the same attitude to Wise and Adams when we play Cov.All the negative hype against Wise when we played at Millwall contributed to us losing the match. If you listen to what Kelly says it hinders the side rather than helping them.

Knighton Matt Posted 5 March 2006 Posted 5 March 2006 Funny how fatty Rogers got a worse reception than Taylor  p.s. You could easily hear the Peter Taylor chants from L1 in the West Stand so I'm sure he heard them.

You could easily hear the Peter Taylor chants from L1 in the West Stand so I'm sure he heard them. LCFC seems to have had more than its fair share of panto villains in recent seasons. Remember Little's 'Judas' treatment? Mark McGhee too experienced a friendly reception. Can't wait for Craig Levein to bring down his Chilly Jockoland XI for a pre season friendly...

My point exactly the fact he might think " hey maybe I wasnt that bad after all" makes me sick.
ithuriel Posted 5 March 2006 Posted 5 March 2006 i didnt go yesterday , partly because i was shattered and partly due to it being hull. taylor is history and i really do give him very little thought now. wise and that fat cigar chewing agent of his are far worse , deliberately trying to do damage to our club. monster , monster twats.
Ultra Posted 5 March 2006 Posted 5 March 2006 Yeah but who brought them to our club in the first place? We should have the guy a lot more grief yesterday. But in the end we won the game and that's what will really hurt him most. Especially if the result helps to send Hull down!

Guest Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 when wise came back with millwall for the first time (when claridge scored <_< and we then tonked them ) i hoped that the crowed would've done nothing about wise, except maybe a collective 'shhhhh' when he got the ball, in a kind of, 'you're to insignificant to be bothered with little fella' type of way. The little piece of poo really enjoyed the stick. He was lapping it up.
Ric Flair Posted 6 March 2006 Posted 6 March 2006 My point exactly the fact he might think " hey maybe I wasnt that bad after all" makes me sick. Me too, I was embarrassed to say the least. If we hadn't of won the game then the stick we would have got from the Hull fans would have been hard to take. We've all gone on about what a twat Taylor is and then we give him a hero's welcome, well it felt like that after expecting us to rip him apart. Shocking.
