Cat Burger Posted 23 October 2004 Posted 23 October 2004 Sounds like we are doing well, All City at the mo, oo Dublin!!
Steven Posted 23 October 2004 Author Posted 23 October 2004 Tiatto 1 - 0 to City - big deflection apparently - deserve it though
Steven Posted 23 October 2004 Author Posted 23 October 2004 Very lucky they should have scored - not in the game at the mo.
Steven Posted 23 October 2004 Author Posted 23 October 2004 1 - 1 Dull ending to the match - who will be the first to bring the weather out as an excuse.
kirkup21 Posted 23 October 2004 Posted 23 October 2004 Just got back from the game, I don't understand how we didnt win today, we we're all over em just couldn't get the final ball right.
Mark Posted 23 October 2004 Posted 23 October 2004 First 30 minutes was brilliant. But then we seemed to stop and they scored Second half was hard to play because of the weather but we still passed the ball well. Much improved performance, and on a Saturday Dion Dublin - useless.
Craig Posted 23 October 2004 Posted 23 October 2004 I didnt think we played well at all in the 2nd half. We dominated, but we didn't play well.
Oli Posted 23 October 2004 Posted 23 October 2004 After we had scored we didnt play again. Dublin is the biggest joke. And i see Ade aint got no better.

Again, didn't win much in the air, but reasonable in holding the ball up.
Wellman Posted 23 October 2004 Posted 23 October 2004 agree totally with true blue, after we scored we just fell apart. I'm liking the improved performance though, nice little 1, 2's with each other, playing triangle football, very simple but very effective, this got the crowd going. This was the first Leicester game in which i've been to under Wilko and Bassett and i was very pleased. A much improved performance, we just couldn't kick it in the net
Cobbo Posted 24 October 2004 Posted 24 October 2004 Weather ruined it in the second half, couldn't play our passing game! :: Their goal came after a blatent foul on Dublin that wasn't given too, which was rather annoying I must say! The referee was a bit of a silly platipus.

It was indeed a foul by us on them before that, not given....the ref played on and then a blatent foul on Dion occued...that was a foul whether the one for Stoke was given or not, if the ref had decided that he wasn't going to give us the free kick after fúcking up the earlier incident and thus making it 'even' he is a piss poor ref! He was indeed shocking overall, never let the game get any sort of flow at all.

Apart from a couple of bad mistakes, i thought he was the best ref i have seen for a very long time. He played the advantage a lot which was very good imo.
Ash Posted 24 October 2004 Posted 24 October 2004 These are the must win games, and we cant do it !.....The chances of us getting promotion are getting slimar evergame that i watch
Ricey Posted 24 October 2004 Posted 24 October 2004 I thought we played very well yesterday, unfortunatley we stopped attacking in the first half when we scored and then fell asleep. It was promising stuff which is all very nice but we haven't won again. I thought Tiatto was amazing, Connolly was a threat all match, Keown was solid and Nalis did everything right. We need to drop Dublin though and replace Gemmill with Joey who warmed up so hard all match and looked so eager but he didn't get on. Great atmosphere I thought compared to the rest of the season, felt like the old times again
