The Don Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 If i won that much, I would invest 80m spend bout 5m on friends and family. With the £15m left over, I would do whatever I felt like doing at the time, that may include LCFC, may include charities, it might not - but I would have one hell of a fantastic time!! Can you still buy livers from developing countries?? Might need a couple

Nationwider Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 I'd possibly buy the WS, and let the club use it rent free. I say possibly, I might change my mind. Would the name get changed to The Lisa Arena?
Nationwider Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 I'd eat it In £10 note form, or converted to the equivalent value in Pringles and salsa dip?
Guest Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 Would the name get changed to The Lisa Arena? I think the Lisa is Great Arena is more catchy. I've been hanging around TPH too much.
hairy Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 Buy Bernie a new outfit and a debenture so he can annoy that lot for a while Buy the Mercury and get rid of Bill Anderson Build new facilities for Glen Villa Subscribed to lcfc world F off round the world and then take it over................
Anish Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 I'd go into mass property development all over the world to make even more money, and have a property myself in each country of my desire. With the amount of profit i would recieve i would buy a plot in leicester, turn it into a lovely football ground with all the facilities, pay the groundsman £37,000 a year (just below the 40% tax deduction rate so he gets more ) and play my sunday league football team there! Also I would give to Kidney Research, Leukemnia Research and a few other charities, and perhaps give Leicester a couple million if they got rid of some of the catering staff there The 40% tax band starts at earnings over £32,400 so he'd still have to pay 40% tax on the £4600 excess
Tomassi Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 cheers anish you have just cost my groundman a potential earning of £4,600 (pre-tax) his new salary is now £32,000 and a crate of booze
Nationwider Posted 27 March 2006 Posted 27 March 2006 cheers anish you have just cost my groundman a potential earning of £4,600 (pre-tax) his new salary is now £32,000 and a crate of booze You can pay him £37k and not have him suffer tax at higher rate. The £32k threshold is after the tax-free personal allowance, which is currently the first £4,800-ish of your earnings this year and £5,000-ish for 06-07. I'll claim the crate of booze as a fee for my tax advice.
Rincewind Posted 28 March 2006 Posted 28 March 2006 I'd buy Chelsea off that Russion bloke place a 10 mill bet that they'll get relegated take on Peter Taylor as manager (just to be on the safe side) and 10 mil on City being promoted. Then I'd sell all Chelsea players to City at a cut down price. Then I'll bank the rest and live off the interest. I will also, just to show how genereous a fellow I am, buy a bar in some exotic place, hire/buy a plane to fly out all my friends off here and the OS and then have a Happy Hour half price drinks all nighter.
Thracian Posted 28 March 2006 Posted 28 March 2006 He's dead now but it might have been fun to have sought Kerry Packer out at a gambling hall and tossed him for it.
