C-man Posted 17 April 2006 Posted 17 April 2006 Great chant! Decent player though. What was his name? Kevin Thornton?
Leicester Lass Posted 17 April 2006 Posted 17 April 2006 Great chant! Decent player though. What was his name? Kevin Thornton? Yeah, he's really highly rated by Cov fans but MA doesn't play him because he doesn't want him to get noticed apparently
Knighton Matt Posted 17 April 2006 Posted 17 April 2006 Great chant! Decent player though. What was his name? Kevin Thornton? We thought we heard Michael Bolton? Looked a bit like Gordon Strachan though? Either way...ginger mullet? Stupid Benny!
syston_fox Posted 17 April 2006 Posted 17 April 2006 Great chant! Decent player though. What was his name? Kevin Thornton? Were you in block 11, near the back?
andyh1884 Posted 17 April 2006 Posted 17 April 2006 Yeah, he's really highly rated by Cov fans but MA doesn't play him because he doesn't want him to get noticed apparently More like cos he isn't over the age of 30
Wezleylowski Posted 17 April 2006 Posted 17 April 2006 Cant wait for MA to f*** up cov like he did to leicster and they are calling him all the names under the sun
andyh1884 Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 According to the sun this morning Wolves want MA to replace Hoddle. It'd be nice to see cov get shafted
Katy Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 According to the sun this morning Wolves want MA to replace Hoddle. It'd be nice to see cov get shafted God, will Wolves ever learn?
FNQ Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 You're all a bunch of bitter retards. MA has been a succesful manager at every single club he's been at. Get over yourselves.

Ric Flair Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 You're all a bunch of bitter retards. MA has been a succesful manager at every single club he's been at. Get over yourselves. Does success automatically result in happiness though? I was never happy under Adams, even when promoted I was un-inspired. My personal opinion, might be a strange one but that's the truth and it seems i'm not the only one.
marko Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 Did anyone else see that little ginger **** stamp on Williams in our box?
FNQ Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 Il like the way he's guided CovScum to the Premiership this season. Oh hang on, he hasn't. You mean relegation favourites Coventry City?
Katy Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 You're all a bunch of bitter retards. MA has been a succesful manager at every single club he's been at. Get over yourselves. I see your 'someones mentioned Micky Adams on Foxestalk so I must go and post MA arselick comments' button has been pressed again.
C-man Posted 18 April 2006 Author Posted 18 April 2006 You're all a bunch of bitter retards. MA has been a succesful manager at every single club he's been at. Get over yourselves. Get over the fact that Rob Kelly is our manager and Micky Adams isn't. You can't change that, and what everyones said isn't exactly false - that he buys vastly experienced players. So remove your tongue from Adams' arsehole and try speaking sense.

I am delighted Rob Kelly is our manager actually. If I was given the opportunity to swap RK for MA I would be undecided.
Guest Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 You mean relegation favourites Coventry City? He still hasn't guided them to the Premiership, you silly little child.
FNQ Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 He still hasn't guided them to the Premiership, you silly little child. We're you really expecting Micky to get the relegation favourites into the Premiership?
Guest Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 We're you really expecting Micky to get the relegation favourites into the Premiership? I wasn't aware they were relegation favourites. Wishful thinking, yes, but realistically?
Vardinhio Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 Lisa success doesn't mean promotion. Look how succesful Dario Gradi has been at Crewe and they are getting relegated this year. Success is judged by numerous things, it was success that Sheffield Wednesday stayed up for example. Success is not taking someone to the premiership.
Anish Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 I admit that Adams is a good manager - he did wonders in his first season to get us promoted and we were half decent in the Premiership if we hadn't conceded all those late goals. He began to lose the plot though when we came down and it was clear he had had enough, so it was best that he moved on. But I still think he's doing a great job at Coventry given the circumstances.
C-man Posted 18 April 2006 Author Posted 18 April 2006 Were you in block 11, near the back? I was block 11. Row GG, so not too near the back. I had a pink lacoste top on.
Shrew Posted 18 April 2006 Posted 18 April 2006 going back 2 relegation favourites werent watford one of pre season favourites 4 the drop?
SystonFox Posted 19 April 2006 Posted 19 April 2006 Were you in block 11, near the back? i was mate, where were you? didnt see you...

Success is not taking someone to the premiership. If you want to see Sturrock and Gradi as successful, that's your beef. I personally don't see either as successful. I would want to see more for my money. For example, in this division I would see a play-off place as a success, especially for clubs the size of Leicester and Cov. Staying in this league by the skin of your teeth is not.
