dandannieldanok Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 It seems like people don't want him to stay but I want to make sure
Milky Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 depends on how much we are paying him. if the price was right i think he is a worthy member of the squad, he can play in a few positions and o.k it's not at the greatest level but it adds depth to the squad.
AyewJoking Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 I've got no problem with letting him go but as long as he isnt paid too much he could be ok as a squad player.
Vo Rogue Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Get rid of the guy. He runs around like a headless chicken and he nearly destroyed my Saturday when he came on and did his crap backpass. What can he teach others?
ooh Tommy Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Let him go. It's important to finish a game with 11 players on the pitch.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 April 2006 Author Posted 24 April 2006 I think the message has been made clear but reflecting on the lack of finance, we may need him to be even more than just a squad player.
City Fan Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 We haven't won a league game this season when Twatto has started. Here is his league record this season: DDLDDDLDLD Pretty shit really, definitely isn't a coincidence. He has only started 10 games because he is either injured, suspended, or just too shit to be in the team. Oh yeah, I voted NO!
holly Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 voted not sure!! dont overly rate him as a player, but he does get stuck in (yeh sometimes to much) but if is on low wages wouldnt it be good to keep him as a squad player coz remember we dont have a v big squad and injuries and suspensions etc
bigneville Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 The man is a hard working player who will help motivate a battling relegation side. And as we all believe that the club should be moving forward and looking at play-offs/top 10 next season. Then we don't need players who lack footballing talent. IMO this means bye bye Tiatto
Ric Flair Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 Get rid of the guy. He runs around like a headless chicken and he nearly destroyed my Saturday when he came on and did his crap backpass. What can he teach others? My sentiments exactly, if he is such an influence on the younger players then i'll hold him personally responsible for Stearman's 2 dreadful backpasses. He obviously wanted to take a leaf out of his hero Danny Tiatto's book, Tiatto came on and showed him how to hit a dreadful backpass properly though.
mat_j101 Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 And it said on the back of the Mercury that Kelly wanted "captain to stay". Does this mean he would leave him as Captain??? He is the worst captain the club has ever had. A captain sets an example, and what kind of an example does he set when he comes on as a sub, runs over to the far side of the pitch, tries to kick the ball and KICKS A GUY IN THE HEAD!!!!! He is 100% B******S. He should be no where near the club let alone captain.
Dr The Singh Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 This season he has been terrible on the pitch, but to be fair to him he has had a few injuries, I personally don't think he is worth the investment, there's no guarentee of him having the same form he had a couple of seasons ago and he has been shown to be injury prone.
Guest Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 For a while I appreciated his enthusiasm, but since it became apparent he's a liability, that's changed. He's missed most of this season, and to be fair we've not missed him. I'd say thanks, but au revoir.

On top of that it would be his last season in England before he's off to a retirement village back in Oz. So how hard is he really going to try? We would be giving him a top up on his Pension. I'm all for saving on his wages and giving young guns like Levi Porter a left mid slot. It costs us nothing and he has a drive and commitment to succeed as it is all before him. Plus he has the ability.
Stevosevic Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 i really do dislike the fella as a player. will be delighted if he leaves, unfortunately i feel he will be staying and will be joined by some other veterans of the game.
