Jay Posted 11 May 2006 Posted 11 May 2006 I love my PSP, awesome handheld console. I'd defo recommend it, it's a piece of quality equipment. Games, films, internet, music all in one it is indeed!!! However Anish you may be able to help me... I have a load of music videos in mp4 format and want to put them on my memory stick I have read that Sony have been a pain in the ar5e and that you have to create a new file called MP_ROOT and then another file called something else I have done that and I still can't get the videos to register on my PSP it's still says no videos found any ideas? is starting to really annoy me now!!!

I can hopefully help you on this. Yes you need to create a new folder called MP_ROOT and then put the folder in the root of your memory stick. So it should look like this: X:\MP_ROOT (where X is your PSP drive) Then you have to create another folder called 100MNV01 and place it in the MP_ROOT folder. So it should look like this: X:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 Finally the .mp4 movie file can go in the above folder. However, the file must be in a specific format name e.g. it MUST be M4V85202.MP4 (you can change the last 4/5 digits of the filename I think). So your path should be X:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01\M4V85202.MP4 Hopefully that will work. Let me know if it does.
