Knighton Matt Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Best of luck with that! I work in a small company so when the company does well, I do alright. Haven't been given a timeframe on my supposed development or any payrises though. Which is a bone of contention, to be fair. Definitely an underused and undervalued phrase. I'd love to have a contentious fling with a beautiful lady and then after orgasm, loudly declare Partridge style, "Well that was a bone of contention." Maybe it's time I went to bed

Maybe it's time I went to bed I'd settle for the sexage to be fair.
syston_fox Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 My jobs alright. I work part time in a newsagent so theres not much actual work to do. I just sit reading the papers and chatting to customers when they come in...... just a shame about the 5am start time at weekends.
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 May 2006 Posted 16 May 2006 Oh joy my boss is in one of her Wonton destruction moods. Going to be a long day.
Strokes Posted 16 May 2006 Posted 16 May 2006 I am going to hand my notice in at my notice in at my place, i am not suited to office work and will look to a more manual type of job, even if it is less money, you can't put a price on happiness.
Jon the Hat Posted 16 May 2006 Posted 16 May 2006 Mine's alright. The money is pretty good, and I've got a promotion coming up which comes with a car allowance. Had to work 50-60 hours a week to get though. Just about worth it.
