Cobbo Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 I thought you liked yours? That's a shame I'm quite liking mine at the mo.
Muz Posted 15 May 2006 Author Posted 15 May 2006 I thought you liked yours? That's a shame I'm quite liking mine at the mo. I did then my boss got moved to another site and I got this older church going ****. I've had a few interviews at other places , I really hate going to work.
The People's Hero Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 I like mine, just wish I got paid more money to do less hours.
Matt Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 I like mine and I as a person I like my boss but as manager he's fooking shite, The company is going downhill with him as manager, we desperatly need a new foreman. Also currently the standard and quality of work being given is shite, its all just MDF cupboard or Back Panels, or shity little jobs like that, However I have heard I may be sent out to Wimbledon to fit some stuff ready for the tennis in June which could be a cool job and there's also rumour of 60 hotels to make tables, chairs, e.t.c for which could be a intresting job. Just gotta take the rough with the smooth, Sometime work will be piled up sometimes it'll be so quiet theres no point in even being at work, sometimes you'll have shit work others you'll really enjoy it and it'll be intresting high quality work.
Oli Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Just started my job, doing landscaping but do alot of other stuff as well. Been working down in Essex last 3 weeks building a kiddies playground, been great laugh. Got a job lined up to do up some factories in Wigstone which should be alright cause its something different. So work so far is good.

So work so far is good. Mine started brilliantly , my boss was sound , he expected the work done but he was fair and he'd help me out when it got very busy. But the bloke I have at the minute sits in his office all day , all the Mechanics ****ing hate him 'cos he's such a twat.
Oli Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Unlucky dude, if you ain't happy keep going for other jobs mate. See what happens.
Foxes 2 da grave Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Mines good we print wedding invitations and personal and corporate stationary. We recently did Craig Bellamys wedding invites and the fact i sit on my arse all day in front of a pc makes it a piece of piss.

Foxes 2 da grave Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Dunno ill find out..i dont think its anyone famous because iv seen the invites but i think she might be a midget because hes only a few feet bigger than one
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Mines alright when im not busy and can spend most of the day pissing you lot off. When it gets busy though its a nightmare.
Rincewind Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Mines OK but I only get paid for the shifts I do, and the ones who do the rotas have this habit of putting me down for three and then I have to have my phone nearby the rest of the week in case they want somebody to fill in. I already know what it's going to be like during the world Cup. I will be looking forward to seeing England playing down at the pub along with a pint or three and the phone will ring asking me to replace somebody who's called in sick. Sick my arse. They'll be sitting in my seat at the pub. The skiving bastards.

The skiving bastards. goodness, what is the world coming to??! my job is great at the mo, and the boss has recommended me for a 'sizable' pay rise due to me being great...!
Milky Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 I did then my boss got moved to another site and I got this older church going ****. i know what your talking about, i bet he's a right parish toss-piece
Scow Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 I used to hate mine, but I moved departments within the company and it's much better. The day goes very quick now, whereas before it used to drag.
Benji Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 mines alright, the people are decent enough but it's only to put me through uni (or so the plan is) pay is very good though as is the staff discount/rewards/benefit schemes so i cannot complain
The People's Hero Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 At least I'm getting more qualifications whilst I work for the company.. and I do have a small share-holding so from that point of view I am looked after. Grass is always greener.

The People's Hero Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 I'll be your PA when you are a fat cat. I'm already fat so you could say I'm halfway there. I'm also feline quite tired. Does that count? (sorry)
Knighton Matt Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 Mine has it's moments. The workload is ridiculous at times but then you know what your getting yourself into when you sign a training contract I suppose. Money goes up quite quickly as well hopefully I should get a £2k pay rise in July (fingers crossed anyhow )

Money goes up quite quickly as well hopefully I should get a £2k pay rise in July (fingers crossed anyhow ) Best of luck with that! I work in a small company so when the company does well, I do alright. Haven't been given a timeframe on my supposed development or any payrises though. Which is a bone of contention, to be fair.
Knighton Matt Posted 15 May 2006 Posted 15 May 2006 I'm already fat so you could say I'm halfway there. I'm also feline quite tired. Does that count? (sorry) Mate you've had a 'mare. To be fair if you didn't get a blonde PA with pert love cushions I'd be quite dissapointed in you.
