Number 6 Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 Let's just wave farewell to the Premier League fans that won't be hanging around with us for a couple of seasons and be done with it! not the reason, i am quite happy watching championship football, the top 6 or 7 sides play some really good stuff
Phube Posted 13 June 2006 Posted 13 June 2006 uni coming up this year, should be off to warwick and i wont have the money to be able to travel down every week, (it's not the fact that paying to watch crap football annoys me) not sure it's going to be all that good a season actually, am slightly worried as to what kelly will do with our money, i kno he has bought in a free but i still don't see why we need another CB. I hope he'll prove me wrong but i think we will be in mid-table medicracy if we're lucky next season That's no excuse, me and the missus travelled from Warwick Uni to Leicester for loads of home games!! It's only a 25 minute train ride (Cov - Leicester) which cost about £6 (less, if you have a railcard), plus the games are cheaper if you're a Student!!! Where's you fighting spirit!!!

Where's you fighting spirit!!! with having to spend money on accomodation, food and the occasional drinking session it's not going to happen, yes it's cheaper if you're a student, but still well over £200. I have struggled to afford the last few seasons and the added expense of travel (well over £100) is just too much for me
Fez of Mahrez Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 I've edited the kit to look more like the graphic original shown during the text vote. More pin stripes have been added, the A+L logo sorted out and the collar made smaller: Sorry just have to say, that is absolutely awesome.
Number 6 Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 Sorry just have to say, that is absolutely awesome. about a million times better than the actual version, good work

Number 6 Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 I noticed you didn't put books in your list. nah who needs books
Phube Posted 14 June 2006 Posted 14 June 2006 nah who needs books BTW when you get to Wawick I hope you enjoy 'Top Banana' free cheesy disco on Monday night, best night EVER!!!
Jordan Posted 25 June 2006 Posted 25 June 2006 If the sponsor logo wasn't in that silly off-color rectangle, I'd give serious consideration to purchasing the new replica kit.

It's only a 25 minute train ride (Cov - Leicester) which cost about £6 (less, if you have a railcard), plus the games are cheaper if you're a Student!!! Where's you fighting spirit!!! There ain't a direct train anymore Believe me, I've tried with having to spend money on accomodation, food and the occasional drinking session it's not going to happen, yes it's cheaper if you're a student, but still well over £200. I have struggled to afford the last few seasons and the added expense of travel (well over £100) is just too much for me I tried to get a season ticket for this season but the money I had tucked away mysteriously dissappeared in the last couple of weeks of term after exams finished but before term ended, I'm not sure where though...
Phube Posted 26 June 2006 Posted 26 June 2006 How much do student tickets cost then? You have to but a Young Persons Railcard (Usually quite expensive) But you can usually open an account with some bank as a student to get a free one!!! It will save you 33% off every ticket price - well it used to....

It will save you 33% off every ticket price - well it used to.... You can't get a direct train from Leicester to Cov though, you have to get the bus from Cov to Nuneaton then the train from Nuneaton to Leicester. It's only £4.15 for a Cheap Day return with a Young Person's Railcard. Unfortunately from Leamington Spa it's the handsome price of £13.60, with a train to Brum then the train from Brum to Leicester, boo-urns!! And I think the guy from Aston Uni was refering to match tickets, not train tickets, so we've both just wasted our time. Error.
Craig Posted 26 June 2006 Posted 26 June 2006 How much do student tickets cost then? £10 a game at the walkers last season.
Knighton Matt Posted 26 June 2006 Posted 26 June 2006 Ben Swift, the Retail Manager, should be ringing me tomorrow to answer some of the questions asked in this thread such as the tacky AL logo and the pin-stripes. Interesting fact for the day. I sat next to (well 2 seats away) from Ben Swift last season. I thank you.
Ricey Posted 26 June 2006 Posted 26 June 2006 Interesting fact for the day. I sat next to (well 2 seats away) from Ben Swift last season. I thank you. Wow, really???!!!!???!!!!
Knighton Matt Posted 26 June 2006 Posted 26 June 2006 Wow, really???!!!!???!!!! Absolutely I kid you not...
Fox in a Box Posted 7 July 2006 Author Posted 7 July 2006 Whats the new kit like then? WHOSE WEARING ONE RIGHT NOW?
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 7 July 2006 Posted 7 July 2006 Just got mine in the mail then. It's bloody good! I ended up picking one up cos of the design, but the quality isn't as flimsy as it appeared. Pinstripes are bank. The neck is a bit weird, stretchy like. Given my head is not unlike a larger-than-average watermelon, I find it hard to get on
