Libertine Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 There are rumours (on TB) that the A & L logo has been airbrushed on. Unlikely I know, but on the keepers shirt, the logo is normal (as in last years).
Molson Canadian Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 wow this is ugly i didn't expect it to be this bad i think i'll continue to wear last seasons kit
filbertway Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 i see im in the minority , i think its brilliant I'm in the minority with you
Finnegan Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 I like the shape and collar, well on the Weso photo anyway. Looks a bit neater, bit less baggy and Sunday league. I'm not a fan of the A+L logo, however, it would have been better in white or something if it had to be a different colour at all.
Wils Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 i see im in the minority , i think its brilliant Im with you sparky i like it,its no worse than any other shirt weve had!
Bluefoxtim Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 I liked the design of it, but how they have created it is horrible!!! I just can't get round that AWFUL alliance and leicester badge
luffbra Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 I'm in the minority with you Yeah - I quite like it too!
Tarzan Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 i see im in the minority , i think its brilliant im in it as well. i didn't like it at first but the more i see the more i like.
shez Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 ..IF we get promoted no one will give a sh*te on what the kit looks like....!
Libertine Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 We won't get promoted because the kit isn't all-blue.
Ricey Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 I very much doubt the A+L has been airbrushed on as it looks far too realistic on all the pictures and why would they airbrush it on to look a different colour?
Libertine Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 I very much doubt the A+L has been airbrushed on as it looks far too realistic on all the pictures and why would they airbrush it on to look a different colour? That's what I thought. I was just clinging onto the possibility of it not being like that when it actually comes out.
Ricey Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 I've edited the kit to look more like the graphic original shown during the text vote. More pin stripes have been added, the A+L logo sorted out and the collar made smaller:
Cat Burger Posted 2 June 2006 Posted 2 June 2006 Simple, but effective. And I expect, exactly what the person who designed it intended. One young lad of about 20 can change it and has instantly impressed me. So howcome a group of people who are being paid good money can **** it up? It just confuses me it really does, heads should roll for this. Well done Ricey, it shouldn't end here.

I can't believe the club have once again pissed all over the competition by changing many aspects of the original design...plus the fact the changes made make the shirt look worse!
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 3 June 2006 Posted 3 June 2006 My first thoughts were "Where are the stripes?!" This is a shocking mistake by JJB: looks like they've been too scared to go full retro and come up with a washout. If the kit cycle's only a year, you can afford to be a bit adventurous; if it doesn't sell, a new one will only be a few months away. Ricey's edit is a vast improvement - I'd buy that, but doubt I'll get this new one. Anyway, maybe it's an omen - we won promotion in this pile of poop: And for the record, in my opinion it MUST be white socks/white shorts all the way:

davieG Posted 3 June 2006 Posted 3 June 2006 Anyone else think the shorts look a bit strange at the back? Perhaps that's where the sponsorship logos will be.
Stevosevic Posted 3 June 2006 Posted 3 June 2006 Perhaps that's where the sponsorship logos will be. thats not the back anyway.

Phube Posted 3 June 2006 Posted 3 June 2006 Well seeing as how the stripey kit turned out, I'm kinda glad Ricey's didn't win. It would have been awful to see that ballsed up!! (TBH I'm hoping the club secretly steal the design for next years strip!! bwha ha!)
macbeth Posted 3 June 2006 Posted 3 June 2006 Anyone else think the shorts look a bit strange at the back? i hadn't noticed that ; is is a tribute to the french foreign legion ? beau jest !!
julian_joach Posted 3 June 2006 Posted 3 June 2006 Come on leicester city sort it out!! what difference in this to last seasons one, does few lines running down the shirts really improves the players performance???? <_<
