Rincewind Posted 2 July 2006 Author Posted 2 July 2006 Two men went out for a drink. In the first bar one looked up and saw a tall stranger drinking a glass of lemonade, and pointed him out to his mate. They both felt a little nervous so they finished their pints and left and went into a bar a few miles away. After a few minutes they looked up and again saw the stranger. Hurriedly they drank up once again and moved onto another bar whose sole customers were a young courting couple. Within a few minutes the stranger appeared again and ordered a cola at the bar. Having had enough one of the two friends went over to the bloke and asked 'Who are you and what do you want?' What did the man answer?

What did the man answer? was he a taxi driver.......they'd only seen the back of his head in the car and he'd come to pick the couple up
filbertway Posted 2 July 2006 Posted 2 July 2006 The man turned out to be their mate who they had forgot about because they had drunk so much. So he said, ive been trying to catch up with you fockers for the last half an hour.

He went from bar to bar checking that there were no underage drinkers. He couldn't order alcohol because he was on duty and didn't want to get pÃÂssed?
Rincewind Posted 2 July 2006 Author Posted 2 July 2006 Nothing sinister. Macbeth was right. He said 'I'm your taxis driver and hurry up mat the meters running. Did I tell you aboutt the time I had..... scores so far Steven 10 Macbeth 10 A man lay dead in a feild next to a piece of string and cloth. How did he die?
Steven Posted 2 July 2006 Posted 2 July 2006 Nothing sinister. Macbeth was right. He said 'I'm your taxis driver and hurry up mat the meters running. Did I tell you aboutt the time I had..... scores so far Steven 10 Macbeth 10 A man lay dead in a feild next to a piece of string and cloth. How did he die? His parachute failed to open. His balloon crashed. His hang glider crashed. His biplane crashed.
marko Posted 2 July 2006 Posted 2 July 2006 Fell from a hot air balloon, he pulled the short piece of string so he was the one that had to jump.
Rincewind Posted 3 July 2006 Author Posted 3 July 2006 By right these are question and answer puzzles. That is somebody asks a question and the teller answers yes or no. There were acouple of logical and good answers but not the one I wanted. Some clues. He died an accidental death. He had been holding the string. It was a windy day. I think these should help.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 He got blown off a clifftop while he was holding a kite.
macbeth Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 He got blown off a clifftop while he was holding a kite. i think struck by lightning holding kite .................or it blew into an overhead powerline

Was he struck by lightening whilst flying a kite?
jjno1 Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 His kite blew onto some electricity wires and he got electricuted??????????
Rincewind Posted 3 July 2006 Author Posted 3 July 2006 Bit unfair having two guesses in one post Mackbeth but I'll let it go this time. (you may be bigger than me) The second was correct. he was flying a kite and it got tangled in above electricity wires/pylon and he got fried. SCORE UPDATE Mackbet 20 Steven 10 Why did a woman take a baseball bat and break her husbands fingers. These answers should be good.
The People's Hero Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 Cos she went to hit him in the goolies but he had reacted quickly and cupped them to prevent damage.
Coxy Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 He had been overely masterbating and she wanted the attention
Lemon Harpic Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 The husband was being electrocuted, perhaps because he was touching a poorly-wired kettle or toaster, and the wife hit his hand away from the source of his electron-based discomfort with a baseball bat. She didn't just turn off the power because, well, she's a woman.
Rincewind Posted 3 July 2006 Author Posted 3 July 2006 Well done Lennon harpic. He was indeed being electricuted after touching a live wire. Mackbeth 20 Steven 10 Lennon Harpic 10 An easy one. A man hurried down an unlit road carrying a torch. He tripped and the torch went out. no damage was done and he wasn't hurt but the incident was reported in newspapers around the world. Why?
lesta fox Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 The man was being violently electrocuted by an outlet or something, so the woman took a baseball bat and smashed his hand and the man had a chance to rip his hand away from the socket. I heard this one plenty of times before.
