loza15 Posted 2 July 2006 Posted 2 July 2006 Played forkin brilliant. Big money move to the Premiership this summer possibly to Liverpool....WATCH THIS SPACE!!!!!
Ric Flair Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 I did say before the Sweden game that Owen Hargreaves was about to become a folk hero and true to my word he has become one. He was awesome on saturday, considering he's a holding midfielder he showed more drive going forward than Lampard and Gerrard did all tournament, you could tell he was desperate to win it for us. As far as i'm concerned he's an Englishmen and i'm proud of him, he's certainly got the talent to be an outstanding player for us.
Katy Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 Im very glad to be proved wrong. Hargreaves rocked against the cheats and was the only fecker to score a penalty. Onwards and upwards
loza15 Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 It would have beed un German like of him to miss a penalty though!!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 It would have beed un German like of him to miss a penalty though!!! Seriously, beed?
Hullfox Posted 3 July 2006 Posted 3 July 2006 It would have beed un German like of him to miss a penalty though!!! Shouldn't your name be spelt with a double "o"?
shen Posted 4 July 2006 Posted 4 July 2006 I think Hargreaves, Crouch and Lennon can come away with their heads held high. Apart from a few minutes of madness in a relatively meaningless game against Sweden, our defence and goalkeeper were ok too. Oh, and Joe Cole scored a good goal. The rest of the squad got lost somewhere in the Svenisphere. Robinson looked very ordinary all the way through the tournament. He's a decent keeper, but with the English having a tradition of producing great keepers, it's sad to see him between the sticks for England where you'd otherwise expect to see a Shilton, Banks, Seaman etc.

Robinson looked very suspect throughout. He was fumbling and spilling shots, not heavily, but enough to see him struggling at grasping a ball first time. He's a decent shot-stopper, but needs to get better gloves. I think he is lucky that there is a lack of good English keepers these days.

Foster playing with Watford hopefuly in the prem on loan from Manyoo.. Not a bad future if you ask me

Espically Foster who spills every other shot.
Ric Flair Posted 5 July 2006 Posted 5 July 2006 Robinson is decent enough, he's not world class but he's good enough to play behind one of the best defensive line-ups in the world - ours. Whilst David James is around, Robinson will walk in to the team.
