That's fair enough though as he had a great end to the season for the youth and reserve team and he's nearly 19 from what I gather. Chambers is probably not been given a number as he's still only 16 and he'll get one if he gets a chance, but it would have been nice to see him being recognised again. I'm still concerned about there not being a reserve league for us to be in and us actually having a bigger squad than I thought we were going to have. There will be players like O'Grady, Hammond, Sylla, Hamill, Sheehan, Gerrbrand and a few others that could be very rarely playing match football at any level.

I seem to recall the foxes trust saying a while back that the club might well sell one of their players who could fetch a decent fee but it wouldn't be one of their important first team players. If we do cash in on Chambers before he makes a name for himself here then i'd be disappointed with the club unless the fee is well in to the millions, it's not worth it short term when we could have ourselves a striker with premiership class.

I hadn't noticed this, but it's reminded me of the strange happenings of Tomi Petrescu. We never saw him after he made his debut, hopefully this won't repeat itself with Chambers but it's a bit wierd him not getting a squad number when he's actually made a first team appearance for us, and considering the quality of strikers we have here. As for a leaving, Chambers is nowhere near good enough for a big club move yet.

I have heard that Man ure came sniffing around and as you have to do these days is protect! your youth, if we keep him on the youth set up until hes 17 the sign him as a PRO then his 'stock value' is worth alot more. Keeping a lid on his talents is whats needed here until he signs pro forms... I hated TOMI, DAWSON etc moving on when we should be developing youth not destroying it.
