I think we're going to win tonight

...Just felt like saying something radical.

Come on guys lets have some positivity!

Whether we agree with the team selection or the tactics, one thing is for sure is there are 11 boys in blue who need our support tonight so let's put all the debate on hold and get behind the boys!

edit: If anyone points out Henderson doesn't play in blue I'll hurt them. The end.

It will be a horrible spectacle again tonight if previous encounters are anything to go by and that makes matters worse. If the fans are as livid as they are making out then it could be hell on earth after tonight.

Burnley are a grotesque team to play against and we'll need to battle like **** to win it. I don't care if it's ugly tonight, these are the sort of games where you know they'll be like that and there's nothing you can do about it but want it otherwise we'll lose.

Goals.

I just hope the fans really get behind the team and I'm sure they will early doors. I just fear it could turn a bit ugly if the game's not going our way into the second half and there's be nothing worse for confidence if the boo boys are heard into the SECOND game of the season.

yep , I will be very suprised if Cotterill doesn't roll out the 4-5-1. 0-0 being the most likely result. We play like we did on Saturday will lose 1-0. If we really want it and actually show some creativety ( or get a bit of luck ) we may win 1-0.

An early goal for us tonight and Burnley will be stuffed. I don't think Cotterill has a plan B.

We have a lot to prove tonight and if the players realise that and respond accordingly, we should earn three points.

It's all about the OGmonster tonight Chris O'Grady.

I think he'll come on and nick something for us, probably a traffic cone.

You could just be right Flair his enthusiasm for the game is worth watching alone. It's not been mentioned much on here but against Luton when all else seemed to have given up hope - O'Grady was going in for those 50-50's and giving the ref a bit of stick.

If he can continue show that desire to get involved it surely won't be long before he's having a big impact in games and potentially working his way into the starting line up.

He is fastly becoming one of my favourite players, as you say his determination for the game is phenomenal and you can see that by the way he's literally made himself improve in the past year.

That little mustache and receeding hair makes him a cult hero aswell ala Rooster Russell and Coatsworth.

All hail the 'tache and receeding afro! :worship:

There'll be tributes round the ground before you know it

I'd LOVE it if O'Grady came on and snuck a winner, it'd be great to see him play really well and stake a solid claim for a first team spot.

The positivity is trickling into my system now as I look forward to the game, I can just visualise Iain Hume curling a shot past Danny Coyne to put us ahead.

WHEN YOU'RE SMILING...

I hope it proves a magic smile Ricey and all your visions become reality (and that Burnley don't score two in reply).
