Foxhateram Posted 26 August 2006 Posted 26 August 2006 yup should of had 3 or 4 but as per usual ref says no!!
lcfc_jme Posted 26 August 2006 Posted 26 August 2006 Seems as though 28 of the 62 people who voted in this poll were right then
bigneville Posted 26 August 2006 Posted 26 August 2006 Seems as though 28 of the 62 people who voted in this poll were right then Although they shouldnt have been by the sounds of the commentary.... How many handballs is the question...
lcfc_jme Posted 26 August 2006 Posted 26 August 2006 Yeah on the radio it sounded as though we should have had a few penaltys, but then, we aren't Man Utd or Chelsea, so officials don't feel obliged to give us them
syston_fox Posted 26 August 2006 Posted 26 August 2006 There were about 3 good shouts for a penalty today I thought. 1 of them was a clear handball when two players slid in at the near post to cut out a cross!
City_4_Life Posted 26 August 2006 Posted 26 August 2006 I voted that we will nearly get a peno, And we nearly did 3 times, just that the referee didnt blow up for any of them.
john_lcfc Posted 26 August 2006 Posted 26 August 2006 we had no real genuine"" penalty shouts just appeals as did they
Ric Flair Posted 29 August 2006 Author Posted 29 August 2006 I'll not run one of these again, never in my life have I seen so many penalty shouts waved away by a complete and utter twat of a ref!
Katy Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 I'll not run one of these again, never in my life have I seen so many penalty shouts waved away by a complete and utter twat of a ref! I rest my case
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 I'll not run one of these again, never in my life have I seen so many penalty shouts waved away by a complete and utter twat of a ref! At least he did so in a comedy Saturday Night Fever style. Disco Ref!
Thracian Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 Yeah on the radio it sounded as though we should have had a few penaltys, but then, we aren't Man Utd or Chelsea, so officials don't feel obliged to give us them The Chelsea penalty escape was laughable unless you were a Blackburn fan - and not for the first time as all City fans will know. If the authorities are so concerned to see fair play why not have video evidence available? What are they so afraid of?
Tommeh Posted 29 August 2006 Posted 29 August 2006 All penalty appeals on saturday were extremely half - hearted still better luck next time
