The People's Hero Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 So far tonight I've had a few classes of a smashing Australian Shiraz. Really full bodied. Anyway, I feel it's merely improved the subtle acerbicity of my scathing yet playful wit in taking Thomson and Servisair down a few pegs. Anyone got the address for Watchdog? Does Watchdog still exist? Is there such a thing as Oftravel or Ofhol?
Daggers Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 Le Chêne Peyraille de Sigoulès is my tipple of the hour, a brutishly dry Bergerac.
golden gordon Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 Le Chêne Peyraille de Sigoulès is my tipple of the hour, a brutishly dry Bergerac. does it travel well ?
Daggers Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 does it travel well ? What I know about wine could be written on a very small thing with not a lot of ink. Tastes great and it'll get me there
Head Honcho Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 does it travel well ? I guess it travels down his gullet mighty fine
Alexikokopops Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 I decided to go see my gran and grandad, because my grandad broke his arm on Sunday and I thought he could do with plums from my plum tree. Anyway, I watched Emerdale AND Holby City. I'm actually gonna watch Holby City again tomorrow, it was quite enjoyable.
Suffolk_fox Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 I like a nice drop of Dalwhinney. I have a bottle in my drinks cabinet set aside for 'Special Occasions'

Alexikokopops Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 All-time low Alex? There were drugs, face burns, contaminated wards, baby court cases AND MORE!! EVen one of the nurses was verging towards attractionism. What more could a guy want?!
cisono Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 Not a very satisfying evening for me. Went to a specific shop in the late afternoon only to find that it is closed due to renovation. Visited a friend who was at work and constantly on the phone while I was there. Got back late for dinner (spaghetti were glued together and had to make some more pasta). I rang a couple of friends, but they were all unavailable. In the end I went with the flow and decided to stay at home for the evening...
Daggers Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 Id rather drink cat piss than drink wine :pinch: Well, I'm sure as shit not coming to yours for a dinner party so just throw that invite in the bin now!
The People's Hero Posted 5 September 2006 Author Posted 5 September 2006 My evening is just getting better. I've got some exquisite cheese from a friend in the pub, I can't put my finger on what it is but certainly English/Irish/Welsh with whole black peppercorns in it. It's beautiful. Washing it down with some Chilean Merlot. Tomorrow I'll regret this, but right now, I envy no man.
Nationwider Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006 I've got to be up at 5.30 tomorrow. Ergo, I'm starting on the S.Artois right now.

The People's Hero Posted 5 September 2006 Author Posted 5 September 2006 My stressy day of the week (in terms of what you know in advance) was today. I had three meetings. In addition, the modem broke. Not a huge issue, they cost maybe £10... but I still had to go get one etc. Easy street rest of this week.
Nationwider Posted 5 September 2006 Posted 5 September 2006  Good luck I actually think I'm beginning to lose it. WTF am I doing????? This one, and then bed.

He likes plums, I have plums in abundance. Unfortunately no relation between the broken arm and craving. Felt he could do with a treat. What a thoughtful grandson.
