Well I don't do a lot atm cos I have a broken leg, but when I'm fine, I do like to get out and be in the open air, especially when I'm playing footy. Yes I am currently a student, studying A-Levels in Law, Psychology, English Language and P.E at Loughborough College, at which I began attending on Monday of this week I personally wasn't too bothered about the halt in production of the Maverick chocolate bar, as, when it was first produced, i was only 8 years old, and when it stopped being sold, I was just turning 11. Kids of that age will eat most sweets and chocolate bar, and are just happy to have them, as I was. I will say that I liked them when they were in shops though and I must have eaten quite a few. I can't say Top Gun was a favourite film of mine, it was made 3 years before I was born and I have only ever seen it once, when I was a little younger, and it didn't keep my interested for very long (maybe it was my age - I was pretty active as a youngster, not that I'm old and lazy now though!). It can't be all that bad though, having had quite a few awards, including an Oscar. If you're referring to TopCat the cartoon, I love it. Used to make a habit of watching it when I was smaller, and now if I happen to have spare time and see it when I'm flicking through channels, I'll sit and watch it. The way they used to avoid Office Dibble was quite entertaining, and TC was quite the leader of the gang, typical slippery, hard to catch leader - eccentric at times. What has love got to do with it? Exactly what love has to do with it I'm not sure, it is an important thing, an important part of life which most people go through, and it can take many forms. Love can even be blind. But as far as knowing what it has to do with anything goes, I'm not too sure. Not many people are. Maybe as I grow older and wiser, I will be able to answer that question, but I wouldn't hold your breath. Why does it always rain on you? Or me? I don't know, if I had to guess I'd take a stab at Sod's Law?? Or maybe the fact that you live in England and that's just the way it is v Either way, if it's something you want to avoid, may I suggest moving to the planes in Spain (where, dispite the saying "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the plane" (spelling mistake maybe), it doesn't rain there very often at all. Alternatively, you could move to the Sahara Desert, and not have to worry about rain ever falling on you Video did not kill the radio star, I can confirm that the radio star died due to over-exhaustion and exposure to radioactive waves. Not sure how I can confirm this but I am pretty sure that this was the cause of death.

It might be called manipulation of the system and of public opinion and emotions for one's own ends and advancement, I suppose.

One day, and it certainly won't be any day soon with this lot, we may have leaders who are wise enough to work towards a genuinely fair and all-encompassing society.

A society where all people start from the standpoint of respecting one another instead of subtlely seeking the one to undermine the other either through individuals or organisations.

i find the phrase offensive as my partner is american and has lived in a trailer, and all encompassing phrases similar to this i assure you are construed as such, DEEPLY OFFENSIVE,

and i find your logic chopping explanation even more offensive to my intelligence .

i suppose you have seen many films and read many books that depict the stereotypical view that you obviously harbour but it is just as bigoted as any other stereotype

as someone else pointed out just by changing the word white to black, the offensive remark would have indeed been seized upon immediately by yourself and other mods as being highly inflammatory

Don't like to answer for people (even though I seem to be doing a lot of it - simply accidentally I tell you!) but I think he was offended by it because that term offends people that lived in trailers in America, and, knowing his gf used to and it offends her, it offends him because it carries strong sentimental values to his mrs. It's a generic term used by all Americans across the class divide and it's normally used to decribe a white family on low income but it 's also used to describe any family on low income.
