willy37 Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 does everyone think would actually have a positive impact in our side? i mean being realistic here, although rooney and henry would be nice are there any players out there that would be able to come straight into our side and change the way we play and give us all a bit more hope.
Manwell Pablo Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Koumas. Orginal post is a bit confusing so I'm not sure what budget we're working with ere. But we can't afford him 2 Million pound price tag, may he may as well be worth 50. Anything over half a mil we've got no chance.

I think Wesolowski will have a positive effect on the team when he comes back into the starting line-up. He won't be the saviour but he will win the ball back for us more than anyone else currently does and if we have the ball we have more chance of scoring.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Izzet, he could play better than Johnson and Hughes even with his knee trouble.
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 We should have signed ReoCoker for £500,000 when we had the chance under MA.
bigneville Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 I would have liked to see Graham Kavanagh but he signed for Sunderland instead....
potter3 Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 I midfielder who can support attacks, like Koumas for example
Simon Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 We should have signed ReoCoker for £500,000 when we had the chance under MA. Was gonna say exactly the same thing! Would have been an awesome signing!
Sparky Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 shaun derry from leeds i would fancy , bit of drive in midfield other than that i thought kavanagh was a cracking shout
julian_joach Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Was gonna say exactly the same thing! Would have been an awesome signing! then West ham would have come in for him and we would have sold him under craig levein just like we did connolly "i think if u ask me its a great investment "
Head Honcho Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Was gonna say exactly the same thing! Would have been an awesome signing! ........but we'd have sold him on at least 12 to 18 months ago!

The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Yeah but on the bright side, we did get Craig Hignett.

bigneville Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 shaun derry from leeds i would fancy , bit of drive in midfield other than that i thought kavanagh was a cracking shout Why thank you... I'll take the credit for that....
lookwhaticando Posted 11 September 2006 Posted 11 September 2006 Joe Mattock. Possibly Ashley Chambers or Louis Dodds.
SydneyFC Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 Reo Cokehead would have done us a whole lot of good.
The People's Hero Posted 12 September 2006 Posted 12 September 2006 Kavanagh would have been a great signing. I bet he's on decent wages though. Having said that, if you add together what we're paying Johnson/Hammond/deVries a week, we could probably have had him if not for them.
