It'd be good to see change happening, but RK will just hide behind the excuse that we were outplayed by a more experienced and better Premiership side

Mort Posted 24 September 2006 Posted 24 September 2006 I think even J.P Angel could score a few on the night :pinch: ...we're saying this, but even CL managed to beat Spurs last season, then again I think the worst thing that could happen to us in the long term would be for us to some how win against Villa or manage a narrow defeat, as i say in the long run a hammering by MON could wake the club up, it could just as easily do nothing of the sort but then again I'm all out of ideas... short of driving over to the Walkers and barging into the cheif exec's office with several sacks full of cash and a one way ticket for him to Bermuda.

lcfc_jme Posted 24 September 2006 Posted 24 September 2006 It's a cup tie, and anything can happen in the cup as the "little" sides keep proving time and time again. We even managed to beat a decent Prem side under CL last term, so I'm not fearing the worst, well at least not yet anyway

But our team (and Rob Kelly) need a serious kick up their backsides. While our heroic win against Tottenham lifted the spirit of the fans, it all ended up worsening our situation, prolonging Levein's stay.
