Wednesday would be much better for me aswell due to a team squash match on tues.

Maybe we should all let the club know that Wednesdasy would be better for us all!

OK BBC fixture list now says Tuesday... damn.. still going though!

...maybe a thrashing by a passionate MON side could work as a perfect example to our lads on how to play as a team...

Could have a piont... stop it now or I'll wind up rooting for MON & Villa rather than City when we play :blink:

Great news for the club and a big high on a fairly poor day!!

If it ain't on sky it should be 27,000 + maybe even sell out. Please Sky noooooo!!

Should give us a decent break from our bad league form!

Great draw.

this could really help the finances especially if we can get 25000+

also wouldn't sky mean a good payday for us. could be the difference between us having to sell a player at a knockdown price in january and being able to keep them.

Not sure why so many people are excited about this, just means we're going to get thumped at home by Villa (remember the 5-0? :pinch:  ), and all be thinking of what we could have had if Martin had stayed.

I'm very worried about this. Agbonlahor vs. Nisse Johansson.

...dont worry, just take a step back and realise that we'll be so bad it'll be funny, might act as a wake up call to the club as a whole, in a perfect world might be the catalyst for big changes you never know

What'll be funny about seeing our side ripped apart by one managed by MON?? It'd be good to see change happening, but RK will just hide behind the excuse that we were outplayed by a more experienced and better Premiership side :):yesyes:

Nothing at all with that attitude :P

...to be frank I just cant be bothered getting wound up about it, it'll be a good game regardless coz we'll have MON back for a night, the contrast could still IMHO act as a catalyst for change here could certianly swing the mood of most of the fans who still seem to be living in cloud cook-oo land...

...one face-off I'd like to highlight, Johnson vs Pertov!

I think even J.P Angel could score a few on the night  :pinch:

...we're saying this, but even CL managed to beat Spurs last season, then again I think the worst thing that could happen to us in the long term would be for us to some how win against Villa or manage a narrow defeat, as i say in the long run a hammering by MON could wake the club up, it could just as easily do nothing of the sort but then again I'm all out of ideas... short of driving over to the Walkers and barging into the cheif exec's office with several sacks full of cash and a one way ticket for him to Bermuda.

all he has to do to solve it is stare at agbonlawhore that'll fook the kid up a fair bit.

It's a cup tie, and anything can happen in the cup as the "little" sides keep proving time and time again. We even managed to beat a decent Prem side under CL last term, so I'm not fearing the worst, well at least not yet anyway :|

But our team (and Rob Kelly) need a serious kick up their backsides. While our heroic win against Tottenham lifted the spirit of the fans, it all ended up worsening our situation, prolonging Levein's stay.

Yea, but by Christ at least one team will be playing some smashing football worth watching! :pinch:

...and they'll be managed by God ...I mean MON, oh wait...
