BartonFox Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Playing for us today in a closed door friendly against Derby according to someone on Fox Fanzine. Might be bollocks but claimed it was on RL, and Asaba is playing an'all.

Manwell Pablo Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Playing for us today in a closed door friendly against Derby according to someone on Fox Fanzine. Might be bollocks but claimed it was on RL, and Asaba is playing an'all. Great....We're going to become a retirement home for players who were never any good as well ones that were. Gareth Fooking Farrelly. :pinch: He was rubbish five years ago so god knows what he will be like now.
The People's Hero Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 I'm starting to see the funny side of this! If we're going to become a laughing stock, we may as well do it properly, on the cheap!

Thracian Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Can anyone join in training? I need a few workouts to keep me in shape for my golf! Loved this comment from Highland Fox on TB when asked when he same here...."we got him free when Kelly took a few empties back to the Off licence."
Sods Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Asaba Asaba Asaba. Just sign him hes going to be a cult hero like De Vries. Gareth Farrely i think he gets injuries all the time
The People's Hero Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 I'm starting to see the funny side of this! If we're going to become a laughing stock, we may as well do it properly, on the cheap! Stearman OUT Fryatt OUT Hume OUT DeVries - Recalled from loan Lee Morris - Back for another 'stint' Junior Lewis - IN Lee Philpott - Age is no barrier. IN
Master Fox Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Stearman OUT Fryatt OUT Hume OUT DeVries - Recalled from loan Lee Morris - Back for another 'stint' Junior Lewis - IN Lee Philpott - Age is no barrier. IN Any chance of getting Maybury back in the team as well? I think Asaba is going to be a quality player for Leicester

Thracian Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Team versus Southampton: Douglas; Chalmers, Knapp, Sjoberg, Nils; Riley, Johnson, Hughes. Farrelly, Asaba, Walsh (Jimmy). Tickets will be reduced to £5 half of which will be donated to a benevolent fund for retired footballers.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 I had a trial last week. I turned them down. Would be a step down from my 5-a-side team. I need to think of my career.
Lester LXXIV Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 We beat the sheep 3-1, all the goals scored by our youth players.... Thracian <enter stage right>
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 I forgot this bloke even existed. What's he been up to lately then?
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 We beat the sheep 3-1, all the goals scored by our youth players.... Thracian <enter stage right> Gradel scored (Again) Mckay the other two. By the sounds of it we looked better when Asaba went off. Time to leave Carl.
Master Fox Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Gradel scored (Again) Mckay the other two. By the sounds of it we looked better when Asaba went off. Time to leave Carl. Ahhh So Soon...???
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Gradel scored (Again) Mckay the other two. By the sounds of it we looked better when Asaba went off. Time to leave Carl. Leave the reserves and get a contract playing for the first team week in week out scoring three goals over the next two seasons, right?
Lester LXXIV Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Leave the reserves and get a contract playing for the first team week in week out scoring three goals over the next two seasons, right? Your an insider aren't you!! I always had my suspicions about you Fezzler!!
Joe. Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Get Gradel in! Pace, goalscoring ability- what else do we need? He can't be any worse than what we already have. As for Asaba- Old, slow everything we don't want. That Farelly bloke is only on trial- it's not as if we've signed him yet!
davieG Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 Get Gradel in! Pace, goalscoring ability- what else do we need? He can't be any worse than what we already have. As for Asaba- Old, slow everything we don't want. That Farelly bloke is only on trial- it's not as if we've signed him yet! The intent is surely there and the message is being spread loudly and clearly by the club that this is our revised approach - straight out of the Micky Adam's book of how to sign over the hill past it players. Except this is worse because no other club wants these two.
Tubes Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 whats farrelly like i havnt really seen much of him before?
gilesyboy Posted 3 October 2006 Posted 3 October 2006 We beat the sheep 3-1, all the goals scored by our youth players.... Thracian <enter stage right> 'After a goalless first half it was Derby who broke the deadlock ten minutes into the second period. But City hit straight back - second half substitute Max Gradel cleverly collecting a 40-yard Levi Porter cross-field pass before charging into the Derby penalty area and hammering the ball home in one swift movement. Billy McKay, who had replaced Asaba in the 70th minute, gave City the lead when he pocked home from clse range with 10 minutes of the game remaining. And the Walkers Academy Youth striker was on hand again to flash home a 25-yard drive to secure the victory at the death.' Need I say anymore as to the current coach's mindset in team selection and the astonishing ability to not see what's right under their noses before going out and signing a couple of has-beens, (or never-weres). Unbelievable.
davieG Posted 4 October 2006 Posted 4 October 2006 Ahhh now I remember where I'd seen this Farrelly guy before Here
