Had a whole load of injury problems, particularly up front, Michael Ricketts, Danny Cadamarteri, Billy Paynter, Matt Harrold, Gary Hooper, Freddy Eastwood, a loanee, Elvis Hammond. The only striker who managed to stay injury free was Rory Fallon, I took him on loan from Swansea (desperate), and was here for 6 months. Sold defender Andy Barrett to Ipswich for 1.1m, when he was worth under 100k when I took over. Brought Michael Duberry to replace him for the rest of the season. I bring in Josh Oster and Josh low to fill the nubmers. Have two good cup runs but get defeated by tough Premiership opposition. In the summer I sell Eastwood to Plymouth (who've been taken over by a tycoon) for 5m, 2.8m more than his value. I also went close to selling Peter Clarke to the Pilgrims for 1.5m, but pull out on the deal. I sign Marcus Tudgay (230k), Jody Craddock (50k), Ben May and Jody Morris from Millwall for 2.2m, and Darius Henderson from Watford for 1m. Arsenal offer to be my parent club and immediately loan 3 youngsters to us. Defenders Matthew Connolly and Joe O' Cearuill and midfielder Fabrice Muamba. Release 6 fringe players in the summer, more noticeably Lee Bradbury, who filled in when needed for us last year. So far this season, 12th Jan 08, 27 games played, 10th in the Championship, 6 points off the play-offs. Disappointing form of late, 3 wins in 11. Henderson and May settle in well and score the goals. Tudgay suffers a setback and is injured for 2 months. Knocked out of the League Cup by Charlton, and awaiting a 3rd round replay against Swansea at Roots Hall, after the first leg finished 1-1. Easily the best player here over the 18 months is goalkeeper Daryll Flahavan. Won the game for us against recently relegated Newcastle earlier in the season, and has consistently performed well. Just hope he doesn't mind getting 7k p/w instead of his desired 15k p/w Oops, breaking news. He accepted the contract, just waiting for the work permit.

Mine being worth £112Million with no debt is better than being worth £600K and £16million+ debt

Highest finish in prem was 3rd, that was 3 seasons ago, since then i've finished 6th, 8th and 9th Got to champions league final in the only year i entered it but lost in final. Won the FA Cup once. Club is worth 133 million, with 32.5 million loan debt though.

I seem to be getting alot of left backs, had one DM that i made a Wonderkid! and Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle and Liverpool after a WBL that come through but hasnt played a game yet but he's worth 4.1m

Got a game at work going on with Hinckley but thats going slow at the mo!

Definately better value for money. Cristiano Lucarelli (Livorno) and Alex Frie (Dortmund) will score you goals shouldn'c cost more than 7 million and both will score shit loads, both getting on a bit though. Not that I've actually signed either of them but they're brilliant in real life

Suffolk_fox Posted 9 February 2007 Posted 9 February 2007 I just sold Kisnorbo to Napoli for £2m!! And Andy Taylor told me I had to sign a high profile player, and he will up our budget. Got a couple of mill now, who should I go for?? Oh, Danny C is a decent player, but you need to keep him in the first team or he requests a transfer pretty quickly!
