I've gone for the 5 3 2 formation GK: Conrad Logan WBL: Kim Jaggy (free from Grasshopper, highly recommend him) WBR: Alan Maybury DC: Gareth McAuley DC: Adrian Marriapa (Loan from Watford) DC: Darren Kenton MC: James Wesolowski MC: Josh Low MC: Stephen Hughes FC: Matty Fryatt FC: Iain Hume Subs: Rab Douglas Alan Sheehan Levi Porter Danny Graham (Loan from Middlesbrough) Elvis Hammond Richard Stearman, Nils Eric Johansson, Gareth Williams, Marc Laird, Andy Johnson all injured. Milky Posted 13 February 2007 Posted 13 February 2007 Just had my first go on the new game I'm with leicester, and managed to finish 4th, but then lost to Derby in the Play-off final 2-1. Heartbreak. Being my first go i wasn't aware of any decent signings to make, so it was all about loans. Bouazza, jimmy smith and Derbyshire being the most successful. I'm gutted, but not a bad first season.

lildave3 Posted 14 February 2007 Posted 14 February 2007 I don't believe it, 22 games and i'm still top by 5 points Lost twice, and worryingly i have scored just 19 games in 22 games. Brilliantly, i've conceded just 5 Hoping Milan stumps up some cash in january to strengthen my strikeforce.

January signings Billy Sharp and Teddy Sheringham have been great acquisitions, Martin Taylor and free transfer Patrik Berger have provided decent cover. Will be gutted if i don't go up <_<

lildave3 Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 how could you afford all these signings? Made a good profit from July-January, so when i asked Milan for more cash he gave me some. Sharp cost me an initial 900k, Taylor was 100k, Teddy was a bargain at 35k and Berger was a free.
