What's the point in coming across the world to live in Leicester? Seriously?

To see my favourite team play of course! :D It's quite a long way to catch the train to and from Leicester each weekend isn't it?

Yes, but then if there were loads of highly paid jobs in Huddersfield that wouldn't be the case!

There's more to life than money. There's no sense of community in the smoke.

Go to New Zealand instead mate. My in-laws used to go there every two years for three months and really loved the place and the people...and with good reason. We've family there now and I can only see more of us going out there in time.

Mind you, my youngest son's fiance lives by the desert in Albuquergue, New Mexico and she can't wait to live over here. Whenever it rains she dashes out of the house to stand under it and when it snows she is spellbound.

The grass is always greener I guess. And it depends what you value.

Disagree - there are pockets of communities. You just have to find them. I am still looking, and is hence why I am moving to Wimbledon on Saturday before the game!

Indeed. I'm looking forward to it, me and me mate got ourselves a new apartment down in Raynes park for £1200 a month, 2 bed, all furnished. I am well chuffed. Landlady has even put in things like an iron, toaster, wine glasses, etc. Oh, and there is a wetherspoons downstairs. Thursday night is Curry Night.

Brick lane is best for currys but that is in east london...

Here

Look at the above - looks like there are a few curry places near the ground though I cant vouch for how good they are and shall take no responsibility should you be violently sick with food poisoning after a visit.

Prob go for a curry after the QPR game. Where dost thou recommendeth?

if you have loads of time stay on the hammersmith line to Aldgate, brick lane is just behind the main road and there are tonnes of indian restaurants down there.
