Chelsea tried to sign him when he was 13 but due to geographic restrictions (players had to live within a certain distance of the club until they reached a certain age) he couldnt sign for them. Then, the summer before he signed for Leciester he spent a 1 summer with chelsea but opted for Leicester over the club he supported as a kid. He was born in Oxford and was a schoolboy in Oxford United School of Excellence(I use that term lightly) until he was 15
