Ash Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 If we signed him. Where would Conners play? 54545 Maybe behind the front two ? And there's no gurantee if we sign Kirk he would play regular anyway
SilverFox Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 Does anyone know anything about him? Has he got any pace? 54543 its a bit of a surprise to see u in for him as levein didnt exactly seem eager to hang on to him when he left for boston. very strange! plenty of pace and ive got a soft spot for him myself. while he could be a good championship player, i seriously doubt hes a premiership player. plays with passion tho, could be just what you need From a hearts fan on TalkingBalls Sounds promising...pace and passion, something we had once!

Craig Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 Hopefully he's more loyal than him 54560 Hopefully you'll shut up and remember how Paul Dickov got us to the premiership.
Muz Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 And then left us when we went down after we resurected his career.I loved him when he was here but what he did was despicable in my eyes.I hate him now and if we were to play Blackburn this season i for one would not be friendly to him.

Savage, hate him? Thatcher, hate him? Bent, hate him? I don't think you do.

Muz Posted 13 January 2005 Posted 13 January 2005 no i dont hate them.We stuck with Dickov through the La Manga incident and we gave him back a footballing career. Ferdinand was already an established footballer and i expected him to go anyway. Thatcher we also reserected his career and he left aswell so again i was pissed off. Bent was on loan and was club contracted to Ipswich Savage i love Savage still , he did not chuck stuff back in our face , he left for a good fee which helped us financially. Whereas Dickov left us after all we did for him , thats what pissed me off

shen Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 You can't fault Dickov....obviously it left a bitter taste when he left, but he remained a superb professional who gave his all everytime...and he's done so all his career, long before he came to Leicester. We did do a lot for him, but he did a lot for us as well so it's all fair, no-one was cheated. If you want to blame someone, blame the management for not dealing with his contract earlier... You really can't blame Dickov..afterall.. Muzzy left us for personal ambition too, but judging by your name MuzzyMagic, I don't think you hold a grudge against him do you?

Madness eh? Can't for the life of me see why he left
Muz Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 THat could go both ways Fancy leaving a club that got your career back on track , that stuck with him when he got jailed , that gave him the best few years of his career

Oli Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 I agree with MM on this one. Dickov promised over the tonnoy to 30 odd thous fans that he was staying, he said "I will definantly be here next season". Did Bent say that? Ferdinand say that? Thatcher say that? Savage say that? No to all of them.
Matt Posted 14 January 2005 Posted 14 January 2005 Right Dickhead had a live interview on GMTV the morning before he left, without being asked he said "Lifes great a Leicester and i'm definetly staying"...now ok on the last game of the season I can probably forgive him when he said a similar thing, 1) He may not have known anything about the move then, although there were rumours have had already moved near to Blackburn, and 2) The Birch asked him, and it was probably a difficult situation for him at the time...but the day before he was transferred AND without even being asked! Now what the fuk does he expect?! Craig also in that interview Mrs Dickhead was there she and him both said there fine the familys fine. Now Craig you've read my thoughts on this subject on the OS and what i've posted above is all i'd like to say on thee subject! Oh except - I can't wait until he comes to the Walkers! Well the way Leicester are going he may have retired by the time its possible, from his point of view it might be a good idea to retire because I and alot of other people will be giving Paul Dickhead a new meaning of hell!!!

OK you two may understand you're having a laugh but others don't always feel the same and overall it lowers the tone of the forum. Lets draw a line under it now.
